  hi all, my daughter in law is in the hospital now, they gave her an epidural, and they figure the baby will be born today at 6pm...yahoo, i am so happy!

  my story is simple really.. sorry its kida long.

  mother was dfd in 1975, during this time we were free to celebrate all holidays.

  during this time were were livng overseas, where my grandparents were missionaries.

  Apology to all

  this is an apology to all for my recent posts, i did'nt mean to upset anyone .

  just coping with leaving the org ,and the past ,and trying to support my wife who, as some know from my prevoius posts has tried to deal with her pedophile elder(past) father for many years now thru the org ,and then being badly treated by them and her large extended family (most are witnesses and are trying to silence her), made me hit rock bottom.

  we are now taking action via the police and court system and she is barely coping ,and me being bi-polar does'nt help matters much and i fell into to an unreal state for a while as we don't have much support of any kind.

  Hey Woz, sounds like you and the wife are under extreme pressure...like the other posters said, just go slow and dont be hard on yourself. This will sort itself out, hopefully sooner than later.

  this was my topic november 3rd;.

  for the first time in my jw history, i turned in a slip with a big zero written in every column,.

  turned it over and wrote "zero tracts" below that, i wrote "stumbled by the co".

  Faders: Would you prefer attention from the elders or not?

  this question may produce some flaming, but so be it.

  i've noticed many are freaked out, annoyed, worried, or simply felt harrassed when faced with the prospect of a visit from the elders when trying to fade.

  others, or at times the same ones, complain that they recieved no inquiry from them at all or very little.

  I agree Ringo. In the beginning I did not want to see the elders and I am glad they never came to 'encourage me'. At that time, I was so mixed up. I knew in my heart that it was'nt right for me, but could I stand up to the elders? I dont think I could have. I would have felt bad and gave in.

  But now, I would love the chance to talk with an elder. I would love to ask the hard questions. The blood issue, UN issue, lack of love issue, change of light, etc...I know today I could stand up to them and there is no way they could make me feel bad.

  It would be a very interesting conversation, I am sure.

  any help appreciated.. health plan changed and the med i'm on is now $88 a month instead of $20.. anyone know of a site to go to for reputable refills on prescriptions from canada?.

  Hi Juni, another thing you can do to save money is:

  If you take a med that is a tablet and can be cut in half. Ask for double the dose.

  ex: you take lipitor 40mg once a day 90 day supply is $234.97

  ask the pharmacist for lipitor 80 mg and split the pill in half...you will find savings this way.

  soooo lipitor 80mg/split 60 pills is $177.58, which in fact is a 120 day supply. (sorry i could not bring up price for 45 tabs) But at the Minit drugs they would sell you 60 because they do not like to break packages.

  And always always ask for generics. They are the same chemical makeup and they have the same power. Just much cheaper.

  Hi Juni, I happen to know the answer to this quesion ...Minit Drugs in Calgary Alberta, I worked there for 3 years and it is a very reputable pharmacy. It is licensed and goverened by the Alberta Pharmaceutical Association, It's a member of CIPPA and another organization. You can find that info on the web. The web site is www.pharmacy-online.ca.   i just saw beaches again last night (bought the used tape for four bucks) and was reminded how that evil, green-eyed monster can destroy the best of relationships.

  Hi there, yes myself and an older sister were the victems of jealousy. When the service arrangement was done, this sister was to join the two of us. She made up an excuse that she had a back-call that she was going to do by herself and that she didnt want to bring us along. It felt really awkward, I mean why didnt she say this in the group when they were making up the arrangements,,,anyhow it was very rude what she did. The only thing I could see was that she was jealous that I was going back to school, in my forties and the older sister had so much money she didnt know what to do with it.

  I really wanted to speak to an elder about this, but I bit my tongue and just ignored it. There were times though, I wished I would have said something. But then a few years later it turns out that she was in a deep depression and her son was giving her big big problems, now I understand her actions. She became so unhappy in her life that she could'nt be around people who were happy. So whenever I see jealousy, its usually a root of that persons deep unhappiness and I try to understand it and not hold it against the person.
