  for those who are interested in what the governing body wrote in the 2005 yearbook introduction.. as we stand on the threshold of the coming new system of things, it is urgent that we keepin expection of jehovah.

  Do you think that JW's will print a "new" book on Revelations?

  the wts has printed several books on revelation since it's inception in 1879. many of the prophecies that were predicted in the studies in the scriptures book failed miserably.

  next the two "light" books the same predictions were reworded failed also.

  the society tried again with the 60's books then is the finished mystery of god book and the babylon the great has fallen book.

  Yes they will eventually print a new revelation book,in about 3 to 5 years as the old one will have reached its 20 year best before date.

  The title will be:Revelation Now Redux with new understandings and former un-edited and unprinted material.

  #2 the society will install visa/mastercard services at the convention sites and in kingdom halls.........any others??????

  In order to make contributions easier,slips will passed out so that transfers from the jw bank account to the society's account can be made electronically on payday.

  some 4-part in-depth watchtower study about rendering an account after 70 years(1935-2005)based on jeremiah's prophecy.this will be a new truth,boosting everybody's hope that the end really is that close.

  after all the events of 2004 regarding the botchtower, what do you think will happen next year?.

  i can think of a few events.. first of all, 70 years will have passed since rutherflawed took on the name "jehovah's witnesses" - a gross misapplication of that scripture in isaiah.. all the new man presses will be operational - already, the wt have increased their watchtower circulation.. "godly obedience" district convention next summer - we all know what that will be about; and don't forget the layman's km article on how to book a hotel, and not just any hotel at that either.. a new book to replace "organised to accomplish our ministry".

  bro barr of the governing body turns 100 (i think this is correct).

  Isn't there something in the bible about rendering an account after the 70 years were up?LOL

  The watchtower in 2005 will have the same material they've had for the last 20 years,just reworded differently to make you believe it's new and "food at the proper time"

  I read a lot of Ann Rule true crime books,she is an excellent author.I'd love to read In Search of Christian Freedom but I first have to figure out how to purchase it without my wife finding out.

  What is your experience as to buying Crisis of Conscience?

  i've read a few very interesting stories about people's experiences when they decided to purchase coc.i'd like to share mine and read yours also.. in 1999,not long after we purchased our first computer i started reading material about jw's.before long,i got really interested in the ray franz story because even up here in northern ontario,i had heard about the apostasy of 1980.in the fall of '99 my wife decide to take a college course(bucking the jw trend),and she would stay at her sister's place during the week.one day i called a christian book store to see if they could get me this book.i was very nervous,changed my name and i wouldn't give them my phone number.i told them i'd call back in a few weeks to make sure they had it before i went in to pick it up.. when the day came,i picked up my courage by two hands and took off for my 40 mile drive to get my book.the book store is located in a small shopping mall,which had me really nervous that another jw might see me going in or out of the store.i walked in the mall looking around,making sure there was nobody in sight that i knew.when i walked in the store,i had cash ready in my hands,walked up to the counter,gave my fake name and the book i was purchasing.now i just had to walk and make it to the car and i was home free.. i know buying a book isn't that hard,i do it all the time,but at that time the implicationsof having this book in my possesion was tremendous.. anyways,it's been 5 1/2 years and still nobody here knows.the book has really opened my eyes and mind to the realities of the wts.i would definitely recommend this book to everyone here who has yet to read it.it's worth the effort to acquire it and will take away your fear of the watchdollar.

  WITNESS MENTALITY TOWARDS THE TSUNAMI DISASTER

  i feel like screaming right about now...........the dickhead who takes our bookstudy group just came over and said "...i wonder how many brothers and sisters died in the tsunami disater.

  " while that's a natural concern, his next comment blew me away "....it figures that the media hasn't bothered mentioning jehovah's witnesses helping out in this disaster!

  " i looked at him stunned for a minute and said "and why on earth would they mention jehovah's witnesses?

  I was watching the news a little earlier this evening,They were showing the chinese,jews,japanese with loads of supplies to be sent to help.Then I wondered to myself how many self-righteous jw's would make comments about how they're always the first ones there.Yeah Right!!!

  My sister is a single mother in a small town and none of them can shovel the snow in her driveway,but yeah,they're always the first to help,and yeah,it's always somewhere else,so you just have to believe it.OK
