the elders announced a new meeting schedule at the morning meeting.
on sunday, we will still have the public talk followed by a study of old watchtower articles until we get new magazines.

i have been searching this site for a few months now and finding some interesting information, for now i am still a jw, confused as ever, feeling like my life is going to end and jehovah will take all the good in my life away by joining this forum.
i have so many concerns and as you all know have no one to talk to.

I've been inactive for 6 years now and still trying to fade away but it's difficult due to family circumstances.One thing I know for sure is I no longer want to be known as one of jehovah's witnesses and I feel a lot better emotionally when I stay away from the kingdom hall.
Don't be afraid to share your thoughts and feelings and ask questions if you want to.

I debated with my "devout" JW mom and her JW elders for 5 hours
by booker-t inas most of you know by now i have told you that my mom has been a "devout" jw for over 40 years and i can't get her to budge.
well the last time we debated she left me totally confused and in a daze.
i did some fast research and this past sunday we had a free-for-all debate that lasted 5 hours.

Hey Gary,
Interesting post! I have to agree with the others that everytime we a df'ing in our hall,everybody knew pretty much the whole story.
I've even had information about myself come back to me.My brother went to the elders once to claim he was suffering a depression that I had caused,and another person went to the elders saying he might not be able to play hockey with us that winter because some people were playing too rough.In both cases the elders did nothing because there was nothing to do but refer them to seek psychiatric help which they will never do.Nevertheless it got back to me and I found it quite interesting how those guys can't keep their big yappers shut.

I've been asked to speak about JW's
by Junction-Guy ini started talking with my barber about a month ago about jw's and he is a young guy and involved with his church youth group.
he has now asked me to come to his church and speak about jw's, i am so excited about this and cant wait.
i have alot of preparation work to do beforehand, and im also gonna try to show some videos to the group.

Hello from northern Ontario.An important topic you could speak about is love.Use JN 13:34-35 and expand on it.Notice how John said "if you have love among yourselves",he did not say "if you have conditional love-based on your meeting attendance,service hours...-among yourselves".
Just my thought but I'm sure a lot of people don't know that about jw's and it's important for all to understand this jw concept and all the damage it does,tying in the df'ing stuff in there...you'll the main speaker for weeks to come.

Hope you enjoy the time with your family and that you can truly open their eyes to the WTS.
The UN scandal is a good one to work with because you can tell people to go to the UN's website and put "wtbts" in their search engine to get the info.And there you go,it's not an apostate website,so they can't hold that over your head.
