All of them,but if I have to choose one,I would say the District
Conventions,these ones where always held in the middle of summer
over here,and the weather was always unbearably *hot*.
Does anyone remember that those DC's had four days with three
over two hour long sessions for the first three days?Pure torture!
The crap started thursdaymorning at 10h until 12h,then 14h until around 16h,
and to top it off 19h until around 22h.
Did I mention it was always *hot*? No wonder.Those "worldly" halls
were not meant to accomodate over 10.000 people huddled together on
cheap folding chairs (Tied together by a long steel rod
because of security regulations) with no air regulation to speak of.
(I did mention in another thread the sorry state of the toilets over there.
The food is another thing worthy of a thread on its own.)
The BORG changed it to a three day,two sessions affair in the
mid seventies,but it was still three days too much...
