most of us in this world realise men can whoop their wives.
we have been used to the idea that men are heads in households.
men, when they want to, can use their biggerness, strenght, and power to overpower the woman.. just what if......the roles were reversed and the woman were more powerful than a man?.
I can beat the crap out of men...and a couple of times I have.
What if women intimidated the man instead of the other way around?
I'm not intimidated by any men. I'm serious. Most of my close friends are male and compared with most of them I'd be considered tougher. Size and strength isn't everything. They make a fist, I pick up a beer bottle. It evens out until I've beat the crap out of them.

first let me say that my mother doesnt like my husband.
her dislike for my husband has tempered over the years but it's still there.
Well, I've never got married BUT I kind of think from growing up around JW women that most of them get married out of desperation. Maybe it's because you weren't deperate and falling in to line that your mom had such a problem with it....I don't know, just a thought.
this was basically my second year out of the organization - we mark our leaving january 2004. i came across this site and began posting here one year ago today.

im constantly amazed at technology, especially the technology that gets adopted and becomes so common we forget how amazing it is.. i think the internet, not just the www, but the mother of all networks with all its facets is the greatest technological advancement of all time.
im not sure if there has ever been anything like it in history.. 1. companies allow data to cross their wan clouds to other networks fairly freely.
this sharing of private resources creates a network that is greater than the sum of its parts.
ya, alot of it is amazing. I don't think I'd want to do without it....yet, I went through grad school with books being assigned to read and I'd read them thinking...."most of theses jerk are going to just look it up on the internet an paraphrase." And they did and I actually read the book and then did the work. Were they ever called on it? No, or not to my knowledge. I mean they all graduated with me. What I'm saying here is soetimes it's too easy.

I never really believed in the JW religion and spent my childhood planning how I would leave.
Most of my childhood I didn't believe it...but for a couple years after my parents divorce.....when my mom got really deep in it...I didn't like it BUT I beleived it.

Jourles- I have to hand it to you. That is pure awesomeness. I have never been in a pepper eating contest although I have dreams...back o back with a whiskey drinking contest. I'm sure I could breeze through both in a couple hours

Hmmm....I've never seen any in California or Washington State...so it seems strange.
