I was just looking at some blank cassettes of mine in order to record something and I found one that was not blank but had a CO talk on it. It was Ron Coldiron preaching about how we should not compare ourselves to others. If the WTS really put that into practice, it would be another religion. There would be no more info re "Spl Pios," "Aux Pios," "Pubs," Field Service "Time" fanatacism, you name it. The WTS is BASED on comparisons with others. So in order for the listeners to think that stuff from the platform like this is "Spiritual Food," they have to clamp down hard on the constant contradictions and inconsistencies prattled by the "Faithful and Discreet Slave" in order for the mind not to melt or explode as did Landrew the Computer in the classic original Star Trek episode because Kirk and Spock convinced it that it had committed error and therefore it had to off itself as a committer of error that could no longer be allowed to exist.

That should only happen to the WTS also!

There are opinions among some students and researchers of the Bible to the effect that the God and Father Jesus prayed to was NOT Jehovah. Just try to find "Jehovah" in the Sermon on the Mount, even in the NWT. And that Jehovah and Jesus' Father are two different gods and that Jesus was actually starting a new religion and that it was NOT the religion of the Israelites' bloody vengeful jealous Jehovah (even tho the Jews were no longer using the Name) and that's why he got killed. Anyone can see from the Bible the difference in these gods' personalities and ways of dealing with people. More than one almighty God? "Amazing!", as Doc Emmett Brown would say.

So maybe my wife had to die of her malady (not that we all don't at some time or other) because we were praying to Jehovah instead of to Jesus' Heavenly Father.

I can't help having the ideas, actually, that it's dangerous to worship ANY God that claims to possess a personality, that we're here because of mysterious forces and we should try to do our best to be moral people, and that if there truly is some God with a personality he/she/it will forgive us for being so confused about religion, thanks to JW's and each and every other "organized" sect that is around or that has been.

have you ever noticed someone that just had to be a witness?

for example, you're on vacation in a very warm climate and you see 2 men dressed in suits....they must be witnesses.

or you go to a sporting event and you see a group of guys suddenly run for the nearest bathroom and the national anthem is just about to be played....they must be witnesses.

Very good, Metatron. Thanks to your post, I can now recall how the Catholic church used a similar-in-spirit portrayal of the demon-supervised tortures of burning Hellfire and Eternal Damnation because, since those in Hell offended the Eternal God, their punishment should be eternal, writhing in cruel, unspeakable agony forever! A Catholic high school "Religion" class textbook even gave pages and pages of sadistic, fiendish details about the suffering. If any entities deserve agony at all they are the Catholic Church and the Watchtower Organization. Some might even think of other organizations that could qualify.

DONT RIDICULE ANOINTED ONES!!

i am so sorry that you all have to tease and ridicule, when it is in our hearts to serve like christ did, but jesus, was ridiculed, he was young, i know a young anointed sister who gave this interesting illustration, jesus was a common name back then, and he was from an unpopular town, nazareth,, so how would you all feel if he came today and was called carlos from pueblo?, .

many people thought he was crazy, and he was ridiculed and hated, .

The last congregation I was in had a brother who claimed to be one of the "anointed." His business dealings and his questionable practices and his taking brothers to court and his being abusive in person and from the platform and his loving to investigate the minutest details of "wrongdoing" among the flock to the point of not showing mercy, thus helping them to say "to hell with it all" and leave the "truth" and his eventually being ratted on by a family member about his abusing them sexually years before, resulting in his losing all his "privileges", as well as his claiming, when the brothers wanted to put him to task for his business dealings with a "Babylon the Great" religious organization, that "we all have to make a living," helped me ever so much, in addition to other things, to not put stock any more in the "anointed" so that I could finally see that it was ALL a bunch of BS and leave.

Reasonings about how the early "Christians" were of the anointed as well as the apostles have only confirmed my utter distaste and abhorrence of Jehovah's Witnesses, Christianity in general, as well as all or most other "organized" religions. Yes ,an "anointed" one helped me to see the light.
