  i was sitting here at work thinking what could i do to my other half this morning.

  my brainstorming concluded that i should repent of my sins and make a request to get reinstated.

  instead of calling her at home, i figured she was probably in front of her computer doing bills and such so i shot off an email.

  i'm still technically an unbaptised publisher... i'm glad i came to my recent revelations before baptism.

  anyway, basically i was stumbled by recent events in our hall... a respected pioneer sister tried to seduce my sister-in-law's husband.

  and when that didn't work she went after another friend's husband.

  My advice: Take a break from religion right now. Sort through all the issues caused by your JW study. Research when you?re ready. You can worship God on your own if you want to. If and when you want to pursue a different religion, you will be better able to take it in moderation. Normal religions are not destructive. It should be an uplifting experience for you, but not one that is depressing, demanding, and controlling?.nor should it consume your entire life from dawn to dusk.

  this is my first chance to post here since last thursday, so here it is.

  amanda and i arrived at approximately 5:45 pm, and parked in the walmart parking lot.

  amanda bought a folding chair and something to eat, as she just got off work.. we walked across the street to the kingdom hall and stood on the shoulder of the road.

  I'm not a full fledged atheist. I have decided to just let it be. Whatever will be, will be. Trying to anticipate just makes us nervous. Anyway, I try to live as if there is no afterlife. If there is one, I will be gladly surprised. If there`s none, I won`t be disappointed.

  Update from u/d re: my dad's sitch...

  i've been gone for a little over a week and i thought i'd give an update on my dad's sitch.

  as you might have read he had a couple of strokes.. after all the testing etc.

  they found out that cancer caused the strokes.

  U/D... it`s so great to know that your father is up and lively! The psychologic side of treatment is often so difficult. By being willing to fight your father increases his chances a lot! His natural defenses are going to be so much more effective. I hope everything will be all right eventually.

  Where & how can I post my letter to family? and...

  does anyone know how & where i can post a ms word document which is the letter i have written to my family?

  i finally got the guts (yes an aussie) up to send it!

  after several drafts, i am finally happy with the copy i have now written.

  It`s so touching. I hope they can listen to their heart.

  I know how hard it is to write open-hearted letters, as I have written some. But none of mine was as important and life-defining as yours. I truly hope it makes its way into their conscience.

  At the very least you showed them some REAL christian behaviour.

  So sorry... That`s a terrifying disease. In times like that, even I find that prayer is of great help. It matters not whether we believe the Bible or not... I will pray for you all, even though I'm not a great believer anymore.
