  What Religion Do you Follow Now?

  i am new to the site.

  i wish i had known about it earlier, it would have avoided a lot of the guilty feelings i felt when i was df in 1998. it's so cool to see so many members.

  anyway i wanted to ask what religion do you follow now that you are no longer a jw?

  if the newspapers/media will not cover the news from barbara anderson maybe a decent size ad in a large circulation newspaper would be helpful to get the word out?

  everybody chip in$?

  anybody good with arranging that sort of ad and willing to use their name to place it?

  It would be good also to consider 'viral emails' and/or see how much placing online banners in very prominent sites, like mySpace, Google and such would cost and maybe create a PayPal account where everybody can contribute what they can when they can so we can get the word out.
  
  We should take advantage of non-traditional media, considering that traditional media is losing popularity.
  
  There are also regional papers, or smaller 'penny pincher' papers (that are free for the readers) that can be good tools to get the word around.

  I agree that everyone here contribute in different ways to inspire many of us. Be it by making us smile, by sharing their stories, their hardships, epiphanies, struggles and overall journeys to a better life.
  
  That being said, there are names that stand out for different reasons.

  the skyline of manhattan is in flames, here in brooklyn, not a building is standing.

  hundreds of corpses lie about the street.

  we're talking about a "supreme being" who hates a lot, is violent and vindictive, fascist, any "love" is totally conditional, plays mean mind games (sacrifice your son for me)....he probably oughta be locked up!

  Medalla, I swear, it's the only beer I can drink without getting a headache by the 2nd. I went down to PR in april and drank sooo much and couldnt be happier. I get pissed that I can't get Medallas here in TX. Goya does make a fine malta which, is the only brand we can get over here, along with 'platanutres' :)
