  i've been thinking about this for a few days.

  i'm pissed at the wts, but not like bitter or vengeful, but more like the "i'm sick and tired of it and i'm just not going to take it anymore!

  just heard arwens ex has become an elder in nova scotia.

  what a joke, he was abusive and kidnapped the children / put her and the kids though hell......... a real jerk..... and he is the one some poor soul will go to for guidance!

  this cult makes up their own rules as they go along.

  a poster on this site was kind to direct me to an ' 03 topic for discussion that dealt with the question whether ex-elders who were on a jc should feel responsible for the hurt and damage to families that suffered df in their family and therefore seek these ones out and apologize.. some felt that these elders were only following what they felt was expected of them and others felt it was a good idea.. how do posters here who were former elders on jc feel about this now?

  Couldn't agree with you more. You brought up points that I have considered and will share w/my family. Yes. The groveling reinstatement process. Did the prodigal son grovel? I don't think so. juni~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

  Good evening Tigerman.

  Thank you for your second post. To clarify myself - by saying "we've moved on" I meant that we (my family) all go on with our lives and not dwell on the JW awful past. Definitely not to say that the past doesn't ever come up again or is not talked about. My kids and my husband and I were all affected in different ways.

  Remember the Society saying that we must "forgive and FORGET"?? Well we are human and we do have memories so you can never forget especially when a lot of the crap was merely opinions of those in authority and not based on scripture. And in order to have the companionship of those in the cong. (whom only you were to associate with) you had better follow the advice. juni~~~~~~~~~~~

  And yes I do feel we all were guilty in some way. I have done a lot of apologizing to my kids and relatives for the hurt and crap I did. Now we've moved on. juni

  Hi candidly nuts "fluff-meister"!

  Thanks for the site. Wisconsin does not list the addresses of these perverts, but they do list their names and a picture. We have several in our very small town so you do see "them" out and about. And of course in a small town many people know a lot of others and there is a general feel of protecting the community.

  Now for that "fluff" appetite. When was the last time you had a pedicure? I'm 56 and had my first one last year. It was great!!!!! juni~~~~~~~~

  do you realize now what the shunning practice does to a person's emotional health?

  to shun or isolate a human being is one of if not the worst punishment.

  my children are shunning me because the dubs told them too.

  the scriptural reason they gave my children is that you're supposed to love jehovah above all else.

  and the one about not speaking to a man who has turned from the road of righteousness (sp?)..
