  interesting accidental circumstances .

  have anybody but me been wondering why so many people and new posters pop up from nowhere the last weeks, attacking all and everyone?

  i find this interesting; since its obvious the attackers do have a special agenda.

  I really don't understand al the commotion. It really to me underscores the fact that some posters here think they are of some untouchable class. Just because they are criticised by ppl who have different views and opinions there has to be some sort of grand scheme to bring down the whole "anti-Watchtower" movement? Not to mention the fact that they often start the chaos with their belittling of ppl's views.

  It's ridiculous to assume that the WTS wants to destroy this board. IMO it's better for them to have places like this up and running. Especially so if "prominent members" of the apostate movement participate here regularly. Here they can more readily observe what going on, so I doubt that they are really putting much focus trying to bring this board down.

  From what I here about the last major ex-jw db it imploded. Ppl were just tired of all the petty bickering that went on there. It was policies implemented by the moderators there that chaffed some and it's most likely that that whole fiasco was the reason H2O lost so many memebers. I just think it's crazy that a multi-national, mutlti-billion dollar organization would focus on a relatively small discussion board, that's prolly only one of thousands of web sites out there that are against it's views to attack a few posters personally.

  Look dude, I didn't try to infer that you said anything. If I felt that you said something I would've have quoted it directly from the thread. Listen dude I don't want no beef wih you. I'm tryin to eliminate red meat from my diet all together. What I said was the impression I got reading you're post. I was lectured in another thread by a friend of yours about reading between the lines of what a person might post last or earlier this week. If I'm mistaken, then so be it. What I said is true regardless of how you might feel about it. That doesn't change the fact that you need help bro. Insulting ppl and debating about "red-herrings" and all the essays about the WTS isn't going to change you're situation Farkel. Get what you need to cope and leave the bs for another time.

  I ,of course, think you are wrong regarding my friend teejay. However, there are some ppl here that I feel the same way about myself. I guess everyone is entitled to their opinion.

  I know something of this farkle guy. I've read some of his stuff in different places. I think he, Alan and jan have some stuff up on the site where you got those essays. As a matter of fact, those essays you've posted are what I remember reading of his. I didn't know that D.... was farkle until about 2 or 3 months ago. It's interesting stuff for sure and is a concise presentation of facts most likely gleaned from other sources and presented nice and compact. Very easy to read.

  I stayed out of his last thread because I know that the guy is going through a whole helluvalot right now. If everything I heard is true I think I can relate. Until this week, I had been unemployed since Nov of 2000. I lost my job because i defended myself against an attack from another employee. Company policy dictated that I be fired along with my attacker. My savings have been severely depleted, my car might get repossessed. I'm behind on my student loan payments and tuition, which means that my credit is prolly fucked. All this and I can't even sue the bastard because no police report was filed and he prolly doesn't have any money anyway. My point? We all have problems, that isn't an excuse to treat ppl cruelly or say what was said in that thread. I feel for the guy, and I wouldn't want him to do anything drastic. However, that's no excuse for a grown man to act like a child.

  I'm not trying to be insensitive or compare my loss of material things to the impending loss of his father, but we must learn to deal with our problems with a measure of maturity. It does no good to continually blame every bad thing that we experince on the WTS. Tracing all our troubles to them only empowers the fear factor they hold over their members. See what happens when they leave? We told you, there is no life without us.etc.... Many say that Farkel has helped many. Perhaps he should now take a lil time to help himself.

  Hmmmm.... It seems that Mr. Bush is a better politician than I thought. I wonder how his base will react? This is a major gamble on his part, but i think he did the right thing. It would have been such a waste if he had just let thode embryos be destroyed for nothing.

  many of you know that i have a good friend, who is still a dub, and her husband is an elder.

  they both talk to us, and i see her all the time, and talk to her everyday.

  she called this morning to tell me about the dinner they had last night with some old friends.

  What gets me is that she couldn't see that she was in fact being a hypocrite. It always astounds me when I hear experiences like this one.

  For instance my roommate left the cult when he was like 16. We both know this brother who usaed to be a MS in the congregation we attended at different times. I hadn't seen this guy for like 2 yrs when I decide to give him a call just to see how everything was going. You see, he had just gotten married and now he and his wife were separated before a good 2 yrs had passed. She accused him of trying to sleep with her sister the night of their wedding. All of this happened after he lost his job btw.

  So while I'm feeling sorry for this guy and tryin to see if everything's alright with him, he starts to criticize me for my pick of a roommate. I'm like WTF! Given his situation at that time I don't see how in the hell he could criticize anybody! It's all baffles me honestly.

  here's a picture of the late sir john fieldhouse during his time as an admiral in the royal navy.

  he later became first sea lord and was in charge of operations during the falklands war when england and argentina slugged it out in the south atlantic back in '82.

  his wife shown here is lady fieldhouse - known to her friends as midge - who is a very active jehovahs witness residing in lee on solent, near portsmouth.

  I betcha if you didn't know anything about England, you would think it was a very vast place. I love the names the English give localities, like Lee on Solvent. What happened between Argentina and England back then? I've heard about it only in passing and really was always curious about what happened.

  What a pretty summer so far!

  i don't know how the weather is everywhere else, but here in dixie, it's been the first bearable summer in as long as i can remember.. it seems as though mother nature took a rest this year, worn out from her years of relentlessly bombarding us with intense heat.

  for so long, it seemed as though the spring and summer months, even october, would bring an onslaught of 100+ degree temperatures with record high humidity and only enough rain to turn our evenings into saunas.. then this year came.

  so far, the temperature has topped out in the very low 90's and the humidity just hasn't had the enthusiasm of years past.

  Ain't that the truth! Man, the weather has been perfect ever since Spring. Down here in the N.O. we've had maybe 2 or 3 days where the temp reached 95 or 96 degrees. That's after having temps in the high 90's on a regular basis for the past 3 summers. Also the rain has returned! We were in a virtual drought down here the lsst 3 yrs. Now we got showers again regular in hte late afternoon. It's welcome relief to me dude. Also, because the rain is back crawfish or crayfish aren't as high as they used to be. They had reached almost 4 bucks a lb. Now they're back down to about 1.50. All in all it's been a great summer dude. I hope the rest of you and everyone else's yr goes as well.

  They are both equally horrible. I think it's an unfair characterization to say that all JW's pray for the deaths of all humankind. Most of the witnesses I knew were scared to death of Armageddon, but yearned for the world of peace it would supposedly bring. I understand your point Neko and I know what you're saying dude, but let's not imitate the Tower in this regard. Let's try to prove ourselves better than they are.

  Those comments show the madness of some but in no way represent the true feelings of the majority of ex-Jw's. Believe that!!!
