He said that if we take time to argue or disagree with someone at the door then our guardian angel is already waiting at the next door with out us. Basically what this does is train us to flee from anything that may conflict with what we are trying to teach or anything that we may believe. To stay at the door and
try to reason for over a couple of minutes would be something frowned upon by the Angels and Jehovah. I remember staying and arguing points at the door for a couple of hours sometimes feeling that I was invinsible. Sadly as time has passed and people are becoming more educated by the internet its getting harder to face people that know how to type the words Jehovahs Witness in Google. I can still spend all day arguing Greek words and confusing people on various doctrines Hellfire ect. But when they start talking false prophets, date setting and 607 I am silenced. I still feel that we have some things right but their are other major things wrong. :(

Rumor had it that the demons wouldnt leave him alone unless he did this everyday and that his wife was a Reg. Pioneer. I remember he told a young sister in our group who was young and had just started wearing makeup that she looked like a harlot. Being a young teenager myself I thought it was actually kinda funny. Do any of you guys remember him and if so do you have an experience or more info on this guy? Thanks in advance.

YESTERDAY'S WT STUDY
by Mary inoh lordy, at yesterday's botchtower study, paragraph 17 (i think) asked what we personally found "encouraging" about the 2004 stats that are listed by country in the wt.
anyway, someone finally put up their hand and remarked about how wonderful it was to see that ethiopia had a 5% increase......ya, i guess if you're starving to death, who wouldn't want to hear that paradise is right around the corner.
one bro put up his hand and actually mentioned the fact that there was 0% increase in virtually all the industrialized nations, but that we "shouldn't let that discourage us".

At my hall it was no big deal really. Their were 3 or 4 that commented on the third world countrys that had 60 publishers and 700 in memorial attendance. ONe other person said that even though their wasnt increase in the USA there were tons that attended the memorial. I know alot of these are inactive ones that family members drag along year after year. It really WAS NOT AN encouraging report but there were a few small countries that had tons of people at there memorial.

Buying houses, building houses - where's the URGENCY of the times?
by truthseeker inrecently while at a witness gathering, i noticed that many "young ones" in their twenties and thirties are talking about buying or building a home.
buying or building a home is one of the most expensive commitments you could ever make.
in the usa, an average mortgage lasts 30 years.

I am still an active witness and in my congregation nobody sets around talking about how close we are to the end. I am 29 and most of the younger group of witnesses that I know pretty much do what they think will get them salvation=go to meetings, go in service and after that they live a normal life. We are constantly being told at the meetings and assemblies about the dangers of materialism. The circuit overseer said that sadly most witnesses would not make it. They know that they are losing the younger ones and thats why they counsel so much to the younger crowd. After all we are the Elders, Circuit overseers of the future and they are losing us.

Last night at the book study 5 minutes spent on discussion about apostates
by PaNiCAtTaCk inthings that were said.
apostates want everyone to believe jehovah doesnt care about them and this was referred to as a satanic lie that apostates want you to believe and this satanic lie was even referred to in the prayer.
(i really dont know where they got this or what exactly caused the society to publish this but this is what was said in the "draw close to jehovah" book).

you said..........haha I have to admit I was a little worried about that Jude 17-25, The verses talked about ' ridiculers' and 't hese are the ones that make separations' but no one in the group brought up apostates. The angle from commenters was only about ppl that try to discredit the bible.
IPSec THIS IS EXACTLY THE SCRIPTURES THAT GOT EVERYONE IN MY GROUP TALKING ABOUT APOSTATES.

Apostates have nothing positive to say only negative negative negative.
Apostates do not want to preach and that many left when originally told they would have to preach.
on a different note one sister brought out that when she was brought into the truth the sister that originally knocked on her door introduced herself as sister so and so and im here to answer any questions you may have about the bible. She then invited the witnesses in and they were the only ones that have ever been able to answer the questions that she had.
The mistake that people make is this. Just because someone has answers do not make them right. Make sure of all things.

When you die, I suspect you wake up crying
by IronGland inthis post isn't about the paranormal or whether there is, in fact, life after death.
rather, it's about the mistaken philosophical conclusions to which atheists sometimes come.

I assure you my parents are smarter than a .wav file on startup. When both parents are attacked at the same time by a demon or demons with the bed flying across the room and pictures ect. on the wall being thrown around the room at the same time it gos beyone mental problems. They had to leave the motel at 3 in the morning and find another place. This is beyond smurf roomers ect. If you choose not to believe in a God than thats your choice. Plus I understand that you dont know me or my parents so the story loses credibility. Personally, I dont need a demon experience to believe in God, his work is obviously around us in all the creations that we see. I can understand someone losing faith in an organization that has had numerous false prophecies but its hard for me to imagine someone losing faith in a God and relying on man and science. I appreciate your thoughts. Thanks

My parents were visiting an island for an assembly back in the 1960's and they stayed in this old run down motel. Later that night they were attacked by the demons in a violent way. Both of my parents are serious people that are also College graduates. My mom was validictorian<<---------did i spell right? Anywayz in my mind if their are Demons then their is a Satan and a God and Angels and Jesus. So there must be an afterlife. It means something to me that it happened to my parents and no rumors or word of mouth demon stories that are always floating around the witnesses.

How did you actually envision Paradise?
by freedom96 inthere was always the talk of the new order, or new system.. but did you ever take the time to wonder what it would really be like?.
would it look like it big park?
would it be country like, with acres of land per home?

I picture it just like they lived on the movie "The Village" which is basically how were living now.
