Closer loved your story on motherhood, brought tears to my eyes, how touching and so true. I being unable now to have no more children, reflected back to when mine where young, the first of all things, walking, talking, smiling, etc. I still remember and I cry sometimes because for me that will never happen again, and yet even though mine are 27yrs and 23yrs, I Still remember those days as if they were yesterday, and feel an emptyness within of not starting all over again and having another baby. I guess that's why we get grandchildren, then we can kind of start all over again. But with grandchildren there is no 2a.m. feedings. You just love them for any time that you see them, I call that good quality time for us both.

How to Get Rid of Witnesses
by gilwarrior inif you want to stop witnesses from coming to your door, here are some questions that will make them uncomfortable:.
1) if your child got into an accident, would you rather let your child die then accept a blood transfusion?.
2) (if the person has been a witness for than 26 years.

This is some really good ideas to ask when they land at your door, sometimes it's hard to know what to say, fortunately they haven't come aknockig at my door. If they do i surely will keep these statements in mind, especially about harbouring child molesters, which I had no idea that this happened.Thanxs for sharing this message.

It took me 4 years to be able to put up any exterior christmas decorations on the house, but hubby said why was I worried, guilty feeling I guess, or scared some JW may drive by and see it and surely gossip about me, gossip was the going thing in my ex cong. finally I decided to hell with it and I haven't turned back since. I do what makes me feel good and don't worry about what other people think.

Can you be Df'ed without a JC?
by BritBoy inas most of you know, i quietly left the borg and moved countries.
recently i heard from an ex jw back in my former country of residence that she had heard i had been df'ed and it was announced at a meeting... can they do this?
if it is true that is!

I was not df, but at the time I decided to leave (on my own) I was so depressed the way things were going in my life, regarding being in the org. and the awful way some people treated others I decided I wanted out. I wrote a letter, left it at the door of one of the elders, because I knew he was at the KH that day. Bang it wasn't to long before I got the phone call, they, him and another bro. cause there had to be two come. They wanted to meet with me, because they knew I had intended to leave, well stupid me being the submissive one had them come to my home, were I might add my hubby who is not a jw was also present. I told them again I intended to leave, they tried to talk me out of doing that, I was so upset, crying constantly, finally I stood my ground and said I was not returning, they said they felt bad that I decided to leave. They said they realized I was not well, and that maybe when I felt better I would return. I just wanted to get OUT I was not sick or crazy, just wanted OUT. The job was done, and I assumed from then on the announcement was made at the KH that I no longer wished to be a JW.If If it was now that this happened I would not even let them come to my home to upset me more, I would have said don't bother coming and left it at that. Thank God I am FREE to make my own decisions in life and not abide by what they say.
