So how wide would the foot need to be, and does it make the individual any taller?
Don't you know that size doesn't matter? Er...wait...yes, it does.

ok.....so i went and got my belly button pierced about 3 months ago.
the stupid girl pierced it with a barbel, instead of a ring...i didn't know it had to be pierced w/ a ring until i got my tatoo a month ago and i was talking to the guy about how my piercing wasn't healing...he said, ''did she pierce it with that barbel?
''.....so it's taking forever to heal and it looks kind of nasty sometimes.
jojo,
When I got my navel pierced, the only thing I used was the sea salt and warm water solution 4JWY mentioned above. I swear it works! I would get a glass of very warm/hot water with a teaspoon of salt and bend over it. I'd put my tummy directly onto the glass and then roll over on my back onto my bed/sofa. I'd just hold the glass onto my tummy for about 5 or 10 minutes, allowing it to soak. If you hold onto it tight enough, the suction will keep it from spilling. I did that every day for 10 days and I never had a problem with my healing. I've never used ointments, because I'd heard it was really bad. NOTE: I got my navel pierced with a curved barbel, not a ring. I've had it for 10 years now (before it was the cool thing to do)...never had an issue.

i love tomatoes right off the vine, onions, radishes.. watermelons too - i am growning a bunch of them this year!!!.
name your favs - .

Yay! Another green thumb on the board!
I've always just done flowers and herbs. This year, along with the flowers and herbs, I'm trying my hand at a veggy garden. I have tomatoes (Sugary Grape and Heirloom Brandywine), peppers (Sweet Banana, Jalapeno, Green Bell, Red Chili), yellow squash, zucchini, radishes and TONS of herbs. I've also got two Tiffany rose bushes...beautiful blooms and the sweetest scent!
I could easily spend more money on our garden than anything else right now...even my photography stuff. Gardening is TOTALLY addictive once you get just a little knowledge. There is nothing like waking up and walking straight out to the garden to water and listen to the birds. Coming home from a long day at work and wedding or repotting...(happy sigh)...it really is the best stress reliever.
My next thing to attempt is a compost bin.
sucks.,..just venting.
i changed that little girl's diapers too, and still love her.
I'm so sorry. The same thing happened to me several years ago when my baby brother got married. I didn't even get the obligatory invitation as a "momento". I was so hurt.
just watched this agai i love the message of get busy living or get busy dying spoken by morgan freeman at the end -reminds me of my attitude since leaving (emotionally anyway) the wtbts
This is my all-time favorite movie!
We can compare ourselves to Andy,,,,,,,inprisioned for so many years,,,,dreaming of a better life, and when we found the WT to be a lie, we dug like crazy to get out. We even had to swim thru some crap to get to the other side of life. But it was so worth it.
Deedee, this is SO true. If I could go back in time and change what I've experienced, I really wouldn't change anything. I can't even imagine seeing Andy, swimming through the sewer, vomitting, thinking to himself, "I've got to get back to my cell." It wouldn't happen. And yet so many exes go back to their cell. It's sad really when you look at it that way.
bladerunner - lots of rain...big coca-cola ad on the side of a building...more rain...punk rocker chick...what is this movie about again?.
finding neverland - blech.
you're sooo pretty johnny.. pulp fiction - hit men discussing what mcdonalds quarter pounders are called in france.
I'll second the American Beauty vote above. Man, that was the worst movie I think I've ever seen. I saw it because of the hype and was SOOO let down.
But then again, I'm one to really enjoy happy ending movies. American Beauty wasn't it.

when you are stressed out of your brains or bored, what sort of activities do you do to make yourself feel better?

Since last summer I've discovered gardening. I am positively in love with it! It's rather like an addiction, especially when I've just planted seedlings or other younger plants. I check on them every morning and evening after work. This spring I'm growing tomatoes, jalapeno peppers, yellow squash, zuchinni, spinach, radishes, TONS of different herbs, roses and flowers. Coming home to water or weed for just a 30 minutes is one of the best ways to start my evening. It's incredibly relaxing.
Taking a walk when the weather isn't too hot is good too. Working out doesn't do that much for me.

we talked about jehovah's name being important and it was explained that jehovah is a form of yahweh, just as people names may be spelled differently, so jehovah is how some people spell yahweh.. we had quotes from daniel and deuteromony?.
we also got round to judges 1;8,21.. they said that the reason that it says the men of judah took jerusalem near the beginning of judges is because in a newspaper, the journalists emphasizes a certain part of the story.. the events in judges 1;8 may have happened during the `split' between israel and judah.. jerusalem was like gibeon, surroundering to the israelites, only later it became apostate.. .
LOL! Thanks Old Soul.
badboy, I'd love to understand what you experienced, but I don't understand it either. Pretend you're writing a story and flesh it out a bit.
my jw mother breastfed my sibs so long they remember it.
one she stopped feeding when she went to kingergarten; i kid you not.
my mother justified it by saying moses' mother breastfed him until whatever age and the bible encourages it.
I seem to remember a lot of JW mothers nursing very late. My exJW friend in Philly nursed her child until she was 2 I think. One sister in Wichita had a three-year old that still nursed. He would say, "Mommy, I want nuunuu." *shaking head* If they're old enough to ask for it, they're too old to nurse IMHO. LOL
i didnt know what other word to use but nerdy,, but you will get the picture when i tell you a couple of my favorites.
or maybe they are not so much "nerdy" as they are just off the beaten path singers,,maybe even a bit odd.
barry mannilow,.
Hey! Neil Diamond isn't nerdy!!! It's who my DH was named after. I was named after Andy Williams. Now there's a nerdy singer!
I LOVE John Mayer! And no I'm not thirteen. But sometimes I let myself be.
I also love John Denver and Barry Manilow. The Bee Gees.
Can't stand Whitney Houston and Celine Dion. Ick.
