  yes, still do at 50 yrs old. once, i had a broken middle finger and the roving mics had 3 ft. booms on them. since i couldn't bend my middle finger, i gave everybody who commented the "bird".

  so, i am so happy that so many of you have helped me, and some seem by your comments like i might know you in person, or at least have met you.

  i guess i could pm them and go that route, but that would take a ton of time.

  the last talk at the convention was about serving loyally with jehovah's spirit-directed organization.

  i had such a hard time sitting through it.

  even last year i actually enjoyed it.

  we had steven lett at ou DC. same last bullshit talk. same ridiculous line of dumbasses wanting a picture with another dumberass. made me sick. nobody wanted their picture with me.

  Did you intentionaly make your talks shorter so the meeting would end quick

  i think the school works differently now, but when i was a kid, a #2 talk was 5 minutes and i would give it in about 3 minutes...why did the meeting still end at 9:15!

  ps.........do you remember when those tms meeting were 2 hours??????

  i had a book study overseer who always went overtime. he would say things like: "i know this will put me overtime but....." and proceed on . he would get so off subject that he would have to ask a question and preface it with " getting back to the lesson....". i hated that lil' fool.

  a c.o. once told me once that if you had the last part and it was 15 min. and everyone else was short and you had 25 min. left, no one complains about going home early, but raise cain about overtime.

  i attended the guided by gods spirit district convention this summer.

  out of an abundance of caution (some may say paranoia), i will not elaborate further on when and where i feasted at jehovahs table.

  we had the great steven lett(i think thats right)of the GB and he did the last talk sunday. what pissed me off is that at the beginning of the DC, he made a comment that he was just a "regular brother, no different from anybody here", but afterwards had a line of fools to get a picture of them next to a GB member! geez! most had envelopes no doubt with cash to give him. it woulda been funny to give him an envelope with aposta-money someone on this board invented!

  Remembering Danny

  i did not realize i had a topic left.. two years ago my brother committed suicide.. people from this board were very helpful and supportive.. suicide of a loved on is a difficult death to deal with.. my heart goes out to all who have lost a loved one to suicide.

  self employed,so i love the freedom i have and the $, which could be better but still above average. but the work(when i actually DO it)is difficult and not very fun.

  told me this morning that after work she would be going to a union meeting with her co-worker.. she came home with piercings in fun place!.

  mind you, she knows i go on this website, and always makes me feel guilty, and she does a whopper!.
