Born in hated it. Left home at 17 stayed in the same town. But at the ripe old age of 27 I won first prize in a raffle, not a huge one but more than enough for a house deposit. So with in two weeks of winning I hit London. Traveled on and off through Europe and Africa for the next two years. Total lenght of stay in another hemisphere 7 Years. I married over there (no crap at my wedding) but to a New Zealander who loves my home town so thats where we are now.

Ouija boards Do you feel they are real or not?Any personal experiences?
by Ticker ini've had several expereiences with ouija boards, some interesting, some disturbing, and as skeptical as i try to be i have to admit i have seen it personally say things and do things that i can not logically explain.
some say its your sub-conscience, some say its spirits, others say its demons.
i am just wondering if any of you have had experiences with the ouija board, what they were, and what you believe about them, supernatural or just another simple amusement?

How long is too long?
by Insomniac injust a question, for those who might know.
how long should you hang onto a relationship, when it's becoming undeniably clear that it's going nowhere?.
i'm so in love, with the most wonderful person i've ever known.

I am going at this from another direction. He has made his feelings on this subject clear. The question is are you prepared to spend the rest of your life in the relationship as it is now? Because he has made it clear that this is how it is going to be.

I love christmas , I put up a big tree and decorate with lights I then put up outside lights on the house. I can't wait to open my presents. We now have a rule now that I have to wait to at least 6.30am to open my presents. As I was wanting to open presents about 4.30 am. Did I mention I am 42 years of age.

On my weekly visit to Mummy dearest yesterday, she mentioned that they had a fire in the Kindumb hall during a meeting, it had to be cleared and the fire birgade called. That they had all been very upset. I LAUGHED and said " Did they think that armageden was finally happening". That got no answer. She went on to say that the police had been investigating and the insurance people had been there as well. Picking up on this " You mean they have insurance on the hall" "Oh yes we pay a lot for the insurance" she replied. To which I answered " You would think that the end been so near that they wouldn't have bothered". She glared at that comment and changed the subject.
