Good question. I left because it seemed like a fairy tale, just a fantasy for people to belive in. What do I believe in now? I don't belive in anything and I don't care about it. People seem to think its important to have a belief and I don't , it doesn't bug me. I have a great busy life and don't waste time think about unimportant (for me) things.

Impromptu Survey - 2 Types of Reasons to Leave
by AdaMakawee ini was thinking, not counting those who are df'd for "conduct," it seems to me that there are two type of exjws that leave.
by this i mean the ones that woke up and came to their senses while still inside.
1. those who found doctrinal errors and couldn't stay with the lies.. 2. those who found that there was no love and left because of the betrayal of emotions, and realization that by this fruit you knew they were not the ones, their lack of love.

Should Elderly Drivers Have To Take Road/License Exams More Than Younger Drivers?
by minimus inrecently, there have been many elderly drivers in this area getting into serious accidents and causing fatalities and pressure is mounting for drivers to be scrutinized more.
some think drivers in their 80s should not be allowed to drive.
others say that elderly drivers should have to submit to yearly exams to insure that they are still qualified to drive.. what do you say?.

Yes they should. I work for a garage and they should not be driving. I race them to the car to get in the drivers seat. Its easy to win, but some of the old men have real trouble with a woman driving their car, they never have the courage to say anything just squirm in there seats and watch for traffic, give hints on how to drive better. Yet the reason I'm driving them is because they don't indicate, don't see bikes and ignore road signs especially the STOP ones.

sisters in plade skirts from the 70's...they looked like they just stepped out of the "time machine.

I went to an assembly in London at the beginning of the 90's I think it could have been wembly. My parents were visiting from New Zealand and really wanted to go. So on with the heels and a "nice" dress (yuh yuh yuh) and drove them to it. I took no notice of the attendants and parked close so my parents didn't have far to go. I had forgotten how much I hated assemblies, but the thing I noticed was how the woman wore 70's clothes all modest with frills and high heels (just right for pushing the babies trolley in gravel) even some elastic waists.
My parents sat in the old peoples stand and I sat in a normal area, lasted 25 Mins before going to the pub to read Sunday papers. The queues for womans toilets was out on to the path, so I went to the mens. (common practice in clubs) going in brother stopped me to point out that is mens toilet. I gave him one, pointed out how unloving it was to make women with children wait outside while the mens toilet were being underused. I then proceeded to go to the toilet. I mention this because he had no idea how to handle the situation, he had no power, no respect, no real frame of reference to control my behavior.
It was like a time warp for me, nothing had changed. They looked dull and lifeless. The clothing could have been new or secondhand but it felt old as did people.

Any Suggestions For An Out of Control Teen Into Sex, Drugs & Alcohol?
by minimus ini know of a 15 year old boy who is sliding deeper into substance abuse and everyone around him seems powerless to stop him from his self destructive behavior.
his parents are divorced, his father barely sees his son, his mother supports her 2 kids in the best way that she can but cannot control her son at all.
he smokes weed every day, been in trouble regularly with the law, is now selling prescription meds that he steals from family members---basically, he's either going to be dead or in jail if he doesn't get serious help.. any suggestions??

Time is all I can suggest. There comes a time when you are living this way when you decide its time to change. I was lucky I was still alive and had not been busted. There was not "moment" when my life changed I just got sick of living that way.

Any Vegans on the Board?
by PrimateDave inmy new year's resolution is to make the lifestyle change to the vegan-pure vegetarian diet: no animal derived foods.. it is a change i have considered before on different occasions.
i didn't stick with the diet in the past due to lack of information, or perhaps the abundance of misinformation available on the optimum diet.
i've never been grossly overweight, probably never over 170 lbs.

I was a vegan for 2 years, I started the vegan lifestyle because of servere pains which seamed to be caused by certain foods. By eating this way I did not get any pains. Eventualy they found and removed the 30 toothsize gallstones I had. I continued eating this way for another year or so. BUT I read all the information I could find on what was required to stay healthy. It required a lot of work and planning. It also required eating a lot to get the quanities of protein and some vitimans. Its not just about vegtables at random, Planned meals with nuts and substiutes eg vegan yogurt.

What kind of raw honey do you like?
by asilentone inthere are so many raw honey products on the internet, i cannot decide which one i want to buy.

I have a couple of hives. The taste of the honey changes depending on the flowers and time of year. I suggest you go to a local farmers market and try the free tastings and get the one you like.
