  POPE ON THE NET

  body use the internet ?.

  the pope seems to....... "the 81-year old pontiff, who last year sent his first message over the internet, praised it as a "wonderful instrument" that should be used to spread the word of god and encourage global peace.. in his first message sent to the world directly over the internet last november, pope john paul apologized to victims of sexual abuse by priests and other clergy.".

  "Scene of the world is changing"

  i recently had the pleasure of working on a house which also had a visit from the jw,s.. as i was working away, i had a "listening ear" or should i say i overheard bits of the conversation, the main sentence being from the male jdub...." the scene of the world is changing".

  this was so comical as he repeated it around 5 times in 3 minutes!

  !, now i can remember from the ministry school the term "repitition for emphasis" but this was getting soooo predictable.. my question is this a variation used by jw,s as an alternative to "the last days" term in which i used as a teenage jw ?

  JEHOVAHS BLESSINGS

  recently spoke to a 72 yr-old, who has been jw for around 2oyrs.. he was telling me how well he was doing in field-misery sorry ministry,how many return-visits he had and how he leaves the mags in old peoples homes,and "witnesses" to the pensioners there.. then he went on to tell me that jehovah had really blessed him financialy with a fantastic pension from his previous employers!!

  the only problem being he took early retirement before he became a jw from the company.. does jehovah reward his people with financial wealth?.

  if he does, i was robbed by my local newsagent when i had a paper round aged 14 !

  Are all elders stupid ????

  during a debate with a relative of mine who is an elder, i told him i had a copy of the elders manual (via the net)..the look on his face was a pictue to behold!!!

  his wife could not believe that an ex-dub could possibly be in possesion of the oh so powerfull elders little book of tricks.he told me that the book was for authority and only elders have that authority to have access to the information in the book, is he on a big ego trip or is he just stupid not knowing this book is available to all on the net?

  is,nt it common knowledge amongst elders?

  why is it that even though your not disfellowshipped or dissasociated and you start questioning the things you thought where truth about the org.

  your so-called family members avoid you like the plague?.i find it quite comical to see how different they treat you, leaving the "truth" and keeping your mouth shut they can handle, but once you start questioning the so-called faithful and discreet slave, all hell breaks loose !!!

  i,ve been accused of being anti-witness,apostate (which i dont mind) and been told that i,ve spat in the face of jah all because i have openly expressed my opinions about the org.

  is it a miracle?

  recently, in a debate with my self-righteous uncle come elder, i tried to tell him about the jimmy swaggert case involving the charging of literiture, and he said the production of magazine,s etc.

  was a miracle from jehovah, is it safe to tell him that some countries still charge for literiture, and if so which ones ??

  is it only countries that conflict with wtbs paying tax ?
