  Are boxer briefs gay???

  i was just watching a sit-com and someone made a reference to boxer briefs as being a sign a guy is gay.

  i like boxer briefs!

  they are the best of both worlds... a combination of boxers and briefs.

  ", by answering "no".

  1corinthians 6:9 men who lie with men will not inherit gods kingdom.

  so i guess its ok for women to lie with women cause we're not mentioned in there!

  Barney, personally, I'd hate to see kids catch anyone doing the deed! But my point was, it isn't just about sex. I can't think it's wrong because, how would I know? I'm not gay and I won't look at those who are as wrong.

  Hi Barney.

  Part of the problem I have with religion is that it sets people up to judge others, in this case homosexuality. I would never feel the way the jw's wanted me to toward gay people. Being gay is not about bangin someone, it's about who they are inside and loving someone of the same gender in the way you'd love your wife. What consenting adults do with each other isn't up to us to look down upon, period.

  Tough day -- my mom died today

  poor thing, she's had alzheimer's for about 10 years and the last year she's been on hospice care because she's been so close to death.

  the past few months she's been slowly filling up with water -- they gave her lasix (not sure of the spelling) to relieve the edema and it worked, sort of.

  last weekend she actually looked a little better.

  Takin a VACATION- need lots of input!

  ok i'm ready to take a vacation and i'm suffering from information overload.. last year i went to iberostar in cozumel june 10 thru 17 - the absolute worst vacation of my life!

  it rained 29 inches in 6 hours and 50 inches the whole week.

  the power was out and a state of emergency was declared and everything was flooded and wet.. so this year i'm looking at the mayan riviera or perhap turks & caicos or st. lucia- any suggestions (be detailed).

  who is who on here??

  i know there are mostly ex jw's on here.

  i just wondered how many of you are ex jws, left or df'd, how many are still in but have lost heart?.

  are there any jws on here who still believe its all the truth, go to meetings and trust the organisation?.

  I was studying with them for four years and just stopped this past September. I lived at home with my father and stepmom, who was almost baptized at that point. My daughter, 4 months at the time, was well after almost dying at birth. The trauma had a tremendous effect on me for quite some time. Me, being in my most vulnerable mental state ever, heard something in one of stepmom's study that sparked an interest in god again, and decided to have a study of my own.

  At that time, I wanted answers and didn't have the mental capacity to think of questioning those answers and researching anything on my own, and outside of WT literature. I took it all as face value and truly felt everything having to do with them came from God. I defended their stances to family (who'd always been against them) not realizing how much of an azz I really must've been.

  The last year of my studying, I decided I really wanted to get baptized. So I attended meetings more (with my 2 small kids) as well as studying from the Insight and worship books. The more I studied, the less sense it all made! I did not agree with many doctrines and realized how much control they are really all about.

  just a question because of course we all either believed we were in the 'truth', are still in the 'truth' have left and found the 'truth', there is no 'truth' or that the only truth is found in the trailer park with a bottle of bud and a bunch of 'pozzies:)
