I was suffering from post traumatic stress disorder, anxiety and depression. My former stepmother was having a bible study one day. Something about Jesus was mentioned. I felt like I could get happiness from Jesus so I took up with them.

I was an Englsih major, but just changed it to a science because it means something in my industry. Writing courses are required anyway, so I get to fulfill that desire regardless.

How important is alcohol to you?
by Peppermint ini feel i drink too much and it concerns me sometimes.
i'm not an alcoholic (isn't that what an alcoholic would say?
) and i never drink in large quantities but if i don't have a glass of wine or a good real ale in my hand of an evening i feel disappointed.

I like to have it at home-wine, vodka and some form of juice to drink it with are my basics. I find that having the ability to have a glass or 3 of wine at night has lessened my desire to drink heavily when I am out for dinner/drinks.
Margaritas made in Cancun are three times stronger than anywhere else on the planet.
Well, now I'd like to take a trip there, afterall!

Well, all replies on a comedy thread asking a serious question won't be funny. Nor would you necessarily relate to all of them. Drink something and a get a new buzz tonight. :)
Lonely sheep if labelling someone with darker skin tones than me as "black" offends you then I apologize a thousand times over. Personally I love black, er, I mean people whose skin tones are darker (and lighter) than mine.
I'm not even offended, Jimmy. Others have addressed the label and my comment was not meant to be taken meanly; I was addressing the labeling itself. It's not a big deal to me.
As far as why I would rent these movies it's because these comedians have done good work in the past and I remain optimistic that maybe when a bunch of talented comedians get together it will make me laugh.
Thank you. There were no talented writers making those movies.

I like Tracey Morgan and Ice Cube. So I rented "First Sunday". It was even worse than "Roscoe".
What's wrong with black comedians? When did they stop being funny?
There are a lot of "black" comedians who are funny. Thanks for pointing out the nonwhiteness of people, and helping others to always remain aware that those with darker skin tones than you are meant to be labeled and different.
Q:When did some comedies starring black comedians stop being funny? A: When there was no longer a need to act like a total buffoon just to be allowed to make a movie and have brown skin at the same time. I would say that post 2000ish, that need dispersed.
Since it's 2008, I have to question just why on earth would you go and rent those simple-minded films to begin with? The egregious scenes in the commercials were enough to make me say, "Why are you doing this to yourself and to others?!"

Shunning & JWs on Miami Ink TV Show
by doinmypart inmiami ink is a show about tattooing, it airs on u.s. cable channel tlc.
the show highlights the work of the tattoo artists and tells the background of why a person gets a particular tattoo.. on last week's show a young lady wanted what she referred to as a "conscience" tattoo.
when i heard "conscience" my ears perked up.

easy for jws to weasel out of issues involving the fossil record because.
a) the wt has very little to say on the subject and b) witnesses are.
