  Zechariah 8:11,12 - Jehovah announces the 70-years ended?

  hi folks,.

  i've been reading into the zechariah scriptures (zech 1:7, zech 1:12, 7:1-5 etc) about when the 70-year desolation period ended, but i couldn't seem to find much about zechariah 8:11, 12. chapter 8 continues where chapter 7 left off (chapter 8 mentions that jehovah "continued" to speak), so the time frame is the same as in the beginning of chapter 7 (4th year of darius, around november 518).

  Zechariah 7 starts off "In the 4th year of Darius." The Insight on the Scriptures Vol.1 under Darius says 521 was his 1st year so his 4th year would be 518. Verse 3 ask "how many years have weeped?" verse 5 says they did this for 70 years. They weeped the year Jerusalem was desolated in 587 which was the 1st year then 586 on down to 518=70 years.

  In the Vol. 1 Insight on the scriptures, page 205, The very "Babylonian Chronicle British Museum 21901" they quote from, proves they lied when they said Assyria fell in 632. It plainly says Assyria fell in 612.

  i've been married to the same wonderful woman for 37 years.

  she's been a jehovah's witness for 33 of those years, i am not.

  i studied with the wbts for a couple of years beginning late 1974 before deciding it wasn't for me.

  can anybody post the kingdumb misery saying that the entire congregation is bloodguilty if a brother accidentally kills somebody on the road?.

  it seems ridiculous to claim that jehoobie will have it in for all the dubby babies and their parents because of an accident on the road, but there it is.. they say the elduhs should investigate - don't you think the police are better qualified to do this rather than window washers and cracker and cheese men?.
