i thought after 7 years out i had done a pretty good job of getting my mind free of the jws.. then yesterday i went on youtube and typed in jehovah's witness.

after watching a few apostate videos, i came across a pro-jw video of a convention.

as i started the video and they started singing "we thank you jehovah" i got a mega wave of nausea and felt like i had to switch the thing off.. has this happened to you?

Watchtower Society is a cult and so are the Mormons but the other religions are just false. Other religions do not destroy families like the WS and Mormons.

Is Satan getting a bad rap?

the thread on spiritism got me thinking about all the ridiculous things the jw's in my hall blamed on satan.

like their kid getting a cold and they had to miss the meeting or getting a flat tire on saturday, thus missing field service.. i always wondered if satan is such a powerful spirit creature, why the hell would he waste his time flattening tires or causing a runny nose?

you would think he would be causing wwiii or another plague or something!.

Actually sat through a whole meeting for the first time in 6 months

I shunned a JW today...

i was walking into an ace hardware store today.

i was about 15 feet from the door when i hear my name called out.

i looked toward the parking lot and here was an elder from my old hall waving and smiling walking toward me.

I don't think so either zeroday. So far I have shunned two elders and one of their wifes. One was the Elder that came to talk to me. The only reason they didn't DF me is because they are very good friends with my Daughter and her Husband and they know what it would do to her if her and my Grandkids couldn't speak and it might be they don't know what I might start because I would have nothing to lose if that ever happens. I don't shun those who I believe are sincere like I was, because you never know, someday they may ask why I quit making meetings.

don't believe anything they teach but like to know what is happening so i can maybe help my kids.
