  i was sooooo happy to find this site the other day.

  i have been free and happy for a little over 6 years now.

  i too grew up jw, pioneered, blah,blah blah, until around the time i moved out.

  I tried the "microwave", "sydney", "kremlin" path and it kicks you off his computer and makes you start over. Try the "microwaveoven", "machupicchu" path. I got a good bit further than the other way...unless you are supposed to jump out of the computer down the "microwave" path... Later,

  does anyone have the factual information concerning the jw's in romania?

  i believe there were many witnesses serving under ban in romania for years and years while the communists were in power.

  then in 1989 when the country revolted against ceausescu and communism was overthrown, the ban on the witnesses was lifted and they could now worship freely.

  Okay Fairchild, now you are on the path I took. I am pretty deep into Mazito3.

  That city is Sidney. In Australia, the Opera House is in foreground.

  However, I think the picture before was of a microwaveoven, not a microwave. "microwaveoven" path will take you to Machu Picchu, an Incan ruin. I love civilization studies. Let me know when you get to "halfhearted" unless you want me to just give you the steps from "microwaveoven." I don't know who that person is, and I feel like I should. It's bugging me.

  JW sites with Watchtower quotations?

  we all know that our friend quotes is under attack from the wt -- for doing just that, quoting their literature.

  are there any jw sites (jw members in good standing) that provide wt quotations of any kind?

  if so, why are these "copy write" infringers being ignored by wt?.

  Thanks for the link, Blondie. I just grabbed a copy of "Millions", a priceless resource. I have the bound book New World sitting right in front of me, I have been doing a grueling comparison of doctrinal points between pubs. There wasn't as much continuity between doctrine in the pubs as they portray. Maybe it depended on how sozzled the Judge was?

  In another five years they will have to admit that millions did not survive, indeed could not survive if every remaining one who was alive in 1920 did a mass conversion. Right now, the figure hovers just over 3,000,000 still alive that were born prior to 1920, barely making the margin with a mass conversion today. Let's face it, most people don't make it to 85.

  But it's easy to spot a lie. It's not always easy to admit that's what it is. Whatever isn't a lie, or false, is true. The CCoJW (formerly, Watchtower Bible and Tract Society) takes reams of lies, strings 'em together, and sticks the label truth on them.

  Yeah, bikerchic, but the Proclaimers book said such factions just die out "eventually." They probably used to say "very soon." Then it became "soon now..." And now we have "eventually." Of course, that book was released 12 years ago. Maybe they have finally given up on the idea of these factions going away.

  The funniest thing is they don't even see that they are ridiculing themselves and making a mockery of the word "truth."

  Just Fake It!

  june 15,2000 watchtower on page 7 we find a nice picture of four people sitting in a park (with the traditional basket of fruit).

  under the picture they state: "why not envision yourself already enjoying peaceful and rightous conditions in paradise?".

  the fact is that the watchtower society has not been able to deliver on their promise of a new world order so, just pretend!.
