You don't have to convince me. I'm already a die hard. I have to convince another die hard on the complete polar opposite. And I have to give her convincing evidence.
I have looked up what is on line. But I would like to see a quote or something from Hitler about unions. Something he said about what he believed about them. I know he abolished unions but we already know the right twists it all around the way they do. So if there is a quote that cannot be misconstrued. That is what I'm looking for.
I thought maybe you or Sixy would point me in the right direction.

Unions = bad bad bad, socialist, bad for economy, corrupt, Reagan hated, Bush hated, I love Reagan and I love Bush therefore I hate unions ...
I believe:
Unions = good for the worker, some are corrupt but the premise is still good, we need a channel to compete with "big business" I hate Reagan and Bush...
Friend would *never ever ever in her wildest imagination* conceive that Hitler was also a hater of unions. So if I say this, I have to back it up with FACTS! Indisputable FACTS.

This board does need an ignore button. It's great to talk to people if you can have a conversation where all involved stay on topic and are reasonable. But the entire thread was taken off topic to give attention to this Rennaia person. Stupid.
Renaia, France is correct in their actions. They do not recognize distructive cults as official religions. That is the point. And the point is valid. If you act like a cult and smell like a cult, you're a cult and you don't deserve the same tax free status as legitimate religions. Instead of fighting the government, the WTS should be analyzing why so many people and governments view them as cultish. Then they should change those things if they want to be legitimate. I am astonished this has been going on so long. Pay up already to Ceasar WTS!

I rarely come on here and it's very aggravating to see that nothing has changed. I sorted through TWO threads to find out what was up with this case in France and had to sort through numerous posts with people arguing against a troll. WTF!!! Just effing ignore the trolls!
This case has been going on for over 10 years! You would think if France was going to do something they would have done it. OMG! Why the hell does it take so long? Either make them pay or leave them alone. But 10 years it's been gong on. I was still a witness and this was the first inkling I ever had that something was wrong with the religion. When I realized they preach for us to pay our taxes but refused to pay in France .... then it led me to think also that why does the WTS spend so much energy, time, money (people's donations) fighting governments when Jesus said "pay unto Ceasar"? And why are they fighting the government of France based on a "persecution complex" when they should expect persecution?
All of these things "stumbled" me. Let the Watchtower Society keep stumbling people! and IGNORE THE TROLLS.

the last time, i challenged the aspect of a worldwide preaching work.. i said that the work is barely scratching the surface in 2/3rds of the world- muslim, hindu, buddist lands.

My wife always throws this conversation stopper out to me: "The Israelites were just like we are now. They were God's chosen people. They made mistakes like we do, they made corrections to their worship like we do and they followed Jehovah's orders, like pooping outside the camp and not eating certain foods, even though they had no idea why these laws were beneficial. Why do you have to nitpick the WTS so much?"
So, then why did Charles Russell start his own sect in violation of the Scriptures? Because the Catholic Church was there, like the Israelites, getting things wrong and right (they got the Scriptures right). So why didn't Russell do like the Israelites and realize that the original Church made mistakes but you don't leave it. You wait for it to evolve and correct their mistakes.
I'm not nitpicking. I'm just asking questions like a Borean, honey pie.
