I could never believe in that stuff anymore even if I wanted to. That's no crack at the Christians on this board or anything.. I just couldn't do it.
I read a post from a guy once that was all like, " Why don't you guys put faith in Jesus, just to be on the safe side at least". I don't understand that logic. How can you have faith in something you don't believe in?

Whacked on the nip ...
by talesin inwell, i introduced the kitten to catnip today ... lol!
she is too cute, except when she lands on my back with all four paws, claws out, to get my attention ... ouch!.
it just makes me wonder .. why is it okay to get our pets stoned, and not ourselves?.

Emotional tension release
by greendawn inwhen you feel emotionally tense how do you release the tension?
by laughing, socialising, playing computer games, or some other way?
for me it's humour really funny ideas come to mind and make me laugh a lot, also by doing some sport such as swimming, listening to nice music and of course by socialising.

Sometimes if I'm stressed I sneak up on my buddy with a copy of the live forever book and flash him the pic of the armagedon nightmare scene - his girlish screams always make me laugh. Also I have a voodoo doll of Theodore Jaracz that I poke in the eyes with a paper clip. To relax I'll play Kingdom Melodies Volume 6 really loud backwards and snort a couple lines of coke. Just usual stuff.

by wanderlustguy inok, i'm finally starting some dialogue with my brother, i've let him know that i have questions that no one can answer, and he says to send them over so he can either answer them or get answers, and that no question is disallowed or "apostate".
he sent me an article (from 08.15.04 wt, thanks blondie!
) via e-mail, on which i pointed out one simple question on reply to him, which he has replied to.

Why don't Jehovah's Witneses offer childrens activities?
by Dragonlady76 ini have always wondered why the jw's don't have a playroom/area or offer kids activities during the meetings.
i would imagine it's been brought to the societys attention at some point.
it just makes so much sense to offer a place where kids and go and play, where they can be read to, have them sing, color pages on bible related stories etc..... .

So maybe I am occasionally bitter...
by feelinglost inthe first blow came the first christmas after i was disfellowshipped.
my boyfriend was gone with his family, so i had asked my mom if she wanted to spend the day together (like we used to do before i was df'd).
watch a movie, make some food.
