I might have wandered off too far, don't think I'll ever return.
However, the following changes would be appreciated.
1. Print a special watchtower edition, admitting all the wrong prohesies.
2. The Sunday meeting should last 1 hour. Two hours is just too much to keep anyone's attention.
3. Make the Thursday and Tuesday meetings optional. Many families have no time to spare as it is, and an evening with the family at home seems almost more christian-like than trying to keep the tired kids quiet during the evening meetings.
4. Instead of knocking on people's doors, leave a flyer, if they want to read it, they will. This would cut field service time in half. Use the other half to do things together, like a picnic or so.
5. Eliminate conventions and assemblies. Everyone knows that they are torture. With one talk after another, do you really think that anyone can remember what they heard, or reads their notes afterwards? Instead, organize large get-togethers with a one hour talk, turn the rest of the time into relaxation, perhaps some games to get to know each other better.
6. Use an established version of the bible, like the King James version. Don't print your own, twisting some of the words around.
7. Don't bother shunning. Eat with the sinners, just like Jesus did.
8. Get rid of the GB. Perhaps a group of people who take care of the administration would be all right.
9. Stop viewing women as a piece of furniture. They do have a brain, let them use it. Let them give talks. Let them hold a mike, let them read. Given, the bible says that the women are the "helper" to the man, but it doesn't mean they don't have a voice or an opinion. Respect can be shown in many ways, not being allowed to directly talk to the congregation, or not being allowed to carry a mike is not one of them.
10. Stop dictating people what to wear and how to look. God loves us for who we are, not for what we wear.
