the wife is on week 8.. i'm trying to figure out how my parents, especially my father is going to take the news when i finally tell them.

Reputations
by Honesty indo the jw's in your community have an overall good reputation?.
are they generally known for helping their neighbors in times of need?.
are they known as people who contribute and give back to the local community?.

When I was in I was concerned about giving a fine witness and improving their reputation among my workmates, family, etc. Everyone around here just views them as wierd and an annoyance.
Now I am angry at how this religion's drones have smeared my own personal reputation when I left.

Um, I hate to butt in here, but I just wanted to add that I worked in our Wal-Mart setting it up to open to the public when it was brand new, and then for a year later. It was absolutely mandatory to do the Wal-Mart cheer in the morning. I'm told they still do it. This is company wide.
I was embarassed to tell anyone we did this, so perhaps others who work there won't admit to it, either. Just a thought.

OMG, the lies fall so easily from his lips. This quy thinks he's quite clever, doesn't he?
Does the attorney and judge know that the elder probably doesn't consider them "worthy" of speaking any truth? Do they know about theocratic warfare? I find it almost impossible to make nonJW's understand this concept.

I am hurt, my wife had a miscarriage and still my family didn't contact me
by jwfacts intwo weeks ago my wife had a miscarriage at 11 weeks.
it is very sad as it was to be my first child and my wife is already 39. what hurt the most though is that none of my immediate family contacted me.
i was d/f in january and did not expect to hear regularly from my parents and sister.

I'm so sorry for your loss, and your terrible treatment.
I had my kids very late, so I am wondering how my children will percieve me, too. It is a bit strange to go to my son's school and see all these young mothers. Our difference in generations also colors how we raise our children compared to the younger one, so that is quite interesting. Overall, I wouldn't worry about it. To give your wife hope, I had my youngest at 41, and she is 3 now.

HELP- Need documentation of perjury by JW's
by alamb ini am still desperately looking for documentation of cases where jw's have lied under oath, a decision has been reached by the court based on perjury committed by a jw, or the like.
i am helping on custody cases where they are urgently needed right now.
