Latte They Evolved very slowly over millions of years. Sharks slowed down a long while ago, they don't need to evolve anymore, sadly they are declining and may need a evolution boost. Don't you listen to David Attenborough? frogit

After watching the first Series, I wrote to the BBC saying that, ‘Planet Earth’ was alone worth the licence fee (£131.50), and I still think that it is worth every penny, not one commercial break to spoil my whole viewing experience. I make sure I’m home sitting comfortable, eyes and mouth wide open, fantastic. Evolution is a wonderful thing….. frogit poor Seals fish food

by gordon d ini was lucky enough to have a friend at bethel sneak me an early release copy of the new, revised edition of the new world translation that is scheduled for release at next springs district conventions.
obviously, i havent been able to read all of it yet but i did glance through it and found some of the subtle changes that the fds has seen as important revisions.

Dawkins on Jehovah's Witnesses' "Creation" book
by slimboyfat inhas anyone read dawkins new book the god delusion yet?
he discusses the creation book on pages 119-121. he says that he discusses this particular tract only because it has had such a wide circulation - no fewer than 6 of which have been sent to him personally.
well i think he has at least 7 copies by now because i personally know one witness who sent him one following his recent the roof of all evil?

Hi slimboyfat
I’m reading this book in fact can't put it down, I wish I could have read it 30 years ago, before I wasted most of my life believing in a myth, and wasting time at meetings, field service, assemblies and pre- meeting study, and more time wasting business the (swear word here) WTower gets you doing, ‘as if’ this is service to a god (Jehovah, non existing).
Look at the back cover and read the remarks from Derren Brown: ‘this is my favourite book of all time. I hope that those secure and intelligent enough to see the value of questioning their beliefs will be big and strong enough to read this book. It is a heroic and life-changing work.’ Philip Pullman; ‘….It should have a place in every school library – especially … every “faith” school.’ I say (frogit); ‘What about Kingdom Hall Libraries’.
A side note when the Creation book was released years ago, I took time to check the quotes with the sources at my local library, you know what? they where taken out of context and made no sense to me, but because I was in a mind control group (JWs), I dismissed my findings, and put faith in the (swear word here)WT, I wish Richard Dawkins had come to my attention way back then.
I would also recommend reading the first few pages at your book shop (or even buy the book it’s worth £13.99) say Waterstone’s, (have coffee as well) by Derren Brown ‘Tricks of the Mind’, this throws more understanding too on why we humans believe in god’s, and are deceived by religion.
Deep acceptance and faith is considered a good thing in the world, but now I say, “truth is real truth, when the facts show it to be truth, not faith which is totally blind and deceives gullible people”, like I once was.
I recommend other books from Dawkins the Blind Watchmaker for example.
God is a delusion, so don’t waste your life anymore following that belief. If you still believe, challenge your beliefs’ by reading this book by Richard Dawkins.

Had a lovely walk in the Peak District National Park yesterday and took this pic of Mam Tor in the distance, We had walked up Cave Dale from Castelton, visited a GeoCache http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?guid=12e48816-a2ba-4f7c-99ea-876ff94a24cd The weather was still warm a bit fresh at times, but Autumn as not kicked in just quite yet, so no golden coloured trees for now. Hope you like the view.

beards not a rule but!!!
by frogit inhttp://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/magazine/4666132.stm .
this caught my eyes and reminded me when as a ministerial servant that we had to go into the back room for instructions from the po (not very clever man), he tried his best to explain to us ms and elders about the wearing of beards in the congregation.
he must have gone on and on for 30 minutes about not having beards, but kept impressing that this was not a rule, but beards should not be worn, but its not a rule, just dont expect to have any privileges if you grow one on your face and wear it (sounds like you wear it like a tie he he) but we are not making it a rule, just dont wear a beard.
