Attended JW funeral today
by usualusername1 innever miss a marketing opportunity—even at a funeral.
funerals aren’t the first place you’d expect marketing.
but jehovah’s witnesses know how to turn every moment into an opportunity to share their message.. during funerals, they weave in their teachings of hope and resurrection, offering comfort and, at the same time, presenting their beliefs to attendees who may not be part of the faith.

Never Miss a Marketing Opportunity—Even at a Funeral
Funerals aren’t the first place you’d expect marketing. But Jehovah’s Witnesses know how to turn every moment into an opportunity to share their message.
During funerals, they weave in their teachings of hope and resurrection, offering comfort and, at the same time, presenting their beliefs to attendees who may not be part of the faith. This kind of strategic thinking shows the power of never missing a chance to convey your values.
Are you leveraging every possible moment to share your message or expertise?

Ten reasons Jehovah’s Witnesses have the true religion (plus a bonus one)
by slimboyfat inthinking back when i was a true believer these are probably the top ten reasons why i believed jws are the true religion.
1. they show love among themselves by not going to war.
not killing your fellow believers in any circumstances, including war, would seem to be a very basic requirement for true christianity.

The HLC do not pressure JWs
by usualusername1 inthe hospital liaison committee (hlc) for jehovah’s witnesses does not pressure members to refuse blood transfusions.
rather, their role is to support jehovah’s witnesses in adhering to their pre-existing religious beliefs, which include a strict prohibition against accepting blood transfusions based on their interpretation of biblical scriptures.. jehovah’s witnesses are well-informed about their stance on blood from an early age, and refusing blood is a deeply ingrained religious conviction, not something imposed during a medical crisis.
the hlc’s purpose is to provide assistance in accessing bloodless treatment options, facilitating communication with healthcare providers, and helping ensure that the patient’s choices are respected.. while the hlc strongly supports adherence to the beliefs of jehovah’s witnesses, the ultimate decision remains with the individual.

While the HLC strongly supports adherence to the beliefs of Jehovah’s Witnesses, the ultimate decision remains with the individual. If a member were to choose to accept blood, the HLC would not force them otherwise; however, there may be religious and communal consequences, as accepting blood is seen as a serious breach of faith within the Jehovah’s Witnesses community.
