once i went to a hall were it was anonced that the seal's were away on holiday .in the closing prayer they prayed for brother pig.. i thought we were in a zoo.
In my ex-wifes congregation, there was the Leer family. The daughter was named Crystal Chanda Leer...poor child.
In my last congregation, there was a sister Brooks who changed back to her maiden name after getting divorced. Her maiden name was Brothers. Once in a while, when called upon for comment, the brother would say "Brooks", then quickly correct himself and say "Brothers" w/o missing a beat, so you'd hear "Brooks Brothers". LOL

My experiences after my wife died showed me the lack of love as well as common sense when it comes to JWs and tragedy.

wait on jehovah, is an interesting terminology.
it is used basically to stop an action from taking place.
the inference would be that you should leave it in gods hands and in his due time he will maneuver things to address the matter.
Wait on Jehovah is certainly an EXCUSE for inaction-either to protect guilty ones, or simply to be lazy and cowardly.
Isa. 59:16 (& the surrounding verses[I think]) show how Jehovah feels when those with the responsibility and opportunity to right wrongs deliberately fail to act.

Hmmmm, I think I lost out on this thread. I'm ONLY 5'8", thin, but well defined(medium build), brown eyes, not beefy at all. :-( But I have been called sexy-go figure-great sense of humor, very compassionate and sensitive. Dark complexion, I think (see pic link).

i want to buy him a nice electric (or cordless) shaver for christmas (help cut his shave time in half).
i went to consumer reports to see what they said - and they haven't reviewed it.. does anyone have any recommendations?.
Closer2, I have found that "trimmer-type" shavers work very well. They are more like the clippers that barbers use. Those give a good close shave, at least for me. A good professional model is ANDIS, but try a beauty supply store is you look for one.
