Then under what authority do they butt into peoples lives and try to brainwash them.Going door to door with thier crap literature I think could be considered butting in.Telling hard working ,humble people that they have to raise thier kids in this crap-----you know,you have been brainwashed well by the faithful and discreet manipulators{ooops-i mean slave}

I pray to a god i know does not exist for you.

In this case an hour is alot of time.the wave only got so far inland.I gurantee if you jogged for an hour away from the ocean ,you would have survived.Im not saying thier would have been no casualties,but any able bodied smart people would have left the area by foot.

how in the heck can the school board justify turning the education of anyone over to some jacka$$ that dropped out of school to pioneer and makes their living cleaning toilets!

how can any parent that truely loves their kid not take a good long look at themselves and say "i am not the best teacher for this child.

IMO--Any jdub that homeschools thier kid has in the back of thier mind how this will help them avoid" bad association".I always remember the day told my mom"you wanted me to work for free with a bunch of morons-that was your goal ,thanks mom."she proceded to cry.

All the elders kids in my hall home schooled,it was the popular jdub thing to do.homeschool=more spirituality-needless to say they all left the borg

Why would anything at the U.N. "tip" them off.I thought they had a direct line to jehovah through the "faithful and discreet slave".So you admit they are not in touch with god anymore than you or me.just wondering?

The thing is ,is that thier world is so small,and everyone has to be in everybodies businiuiss.Its truly sick,and a problem in that org.

how many people make a "comeback"

i personally am ashamed of my so-called comeback.. hers the story.brainwashed from infancy on,got out at age 16-17-really started hating the religion.tried lots of drugs,sex ,selling drugs ,fighting,partying,gambling-soup to nuts.at a fragile and emotional point in my life,i looked back to the religion{for all those sappy and emotional reasons-ex-my life has no meaning,i dont like the way my life is}i had a short lived comeback,and fell into all the traps of believimg a cult again.thinking i needed "structure"in my life.my mom kept sayimg how i would find a nice sister,blah blah blah.... .

after 5-6 months of going to meetings i* stopped,i realized most of the people there{especial;ly young ones raised in the troof}were living lies,and acting very immature.that was 3 years ago.i havent been to the kh since and never plan on going back.. i guess im embarrssed about this and feel stupid about my "comeback".wondering if this is natural to have a comeback considering my circumstances,or if anyone has done this?.

please forgive me...........it will never happen again

I now take a more existential viewpoint in my life.I have calmed down quite a bit-kind of like slow and steady phjilosophy

Frustration

i just wanted to say hi to some people who might understand my frustrations.

i quit the organization about 2 years ago.

i was born into it, and stayed in it for 25 years.

Dustin-I hear you.Its like a ton of bricks hitting you when you finally have the realization of your past.You had everything in your life manipulated by your religion,your parents,all in the name of god.

It feel sometimes that Im just benig selfish feeling like"well,it could have been worse".Your "friends" from the hall aren't there anymore,your new friends can't relate to what youve been through,and that was some of the confusion I personally had.Feelings of guilt are going to linger on for a time.This is a complicated mess to get free of,emotionally,spiritually,even physically.

I can't say I know exactly what your going through ,but I think they are very similar.I will post again later on this subject.your not alone.P>S>dont even think about a "comeback"youll regret it-not that you would-just saying..................
