we've just returned from the wedding of our first born son, simon, to tania.
it was great, i shall post some pics in a few days.
however, following the wedding, i had a brief telephone conversation with my jw mum who asked me if anyone had noticed that she had not joined in any of the toasts to the bride and groom.
Englishman,isn't it strange,almost funny,how a brainwashed jw robot can try to sap the joy out of the most joyuos occasion?All the positives of your sons marriage,trivialized by a "pagan toast".They truly strain out the gnat and gulp down the camel.
Any way,congrats on YOUR families hapiness,and yes,as you english say,they ar blarmy.

ughhhhh, i left "the truth" when i was 16 i had my daughter when i was 18. while is was finishing college my mother watched my daughter for me , so they are very very close.
well whenever my daughter goes to visit usualy about a week at a time my mother takes her to the hall .
she fills her head with the doctrine and tells her that ill say bad things about it and scares her into not telling me about it .

i wanted to share this story.. we were (many years ago) going out in service.
i was in the car with annointed one driving, his wife and the person who had 'brought me into the faith' and my daughter.
we went through an intersection where this old man (annointed one) was not paying attention.
These accounts are a living testament of how CRAZY this cult is.I'm torn between vomiting and laughing.

while reading through some threads, i sometimes wonder what my life would have been like if i had stayed a jw and had kids.
i now have a 23 month old son, that's very active, i can not begin to imagine what torture it would be for both of us to attend meetings or go out in field service.
i would be expected to keep him still the whole time without toys, snacks, books or any sort of distraction at all, except maybe the my book of bible stories.
