  How stunningly gorgeous is this?!!

  since i moved here in february i have been lovely tending to my friend hisbiscus.

  its gone from pruned stems to growing buds to finally flowering.

  this morning when i woke up i was excited to see how the petals had lengthened and seemed about to open - but i had no idea how far.

  gawd..could they possibly walk and slower???

  this is a life saving work these people are doing???

  i stood and watched as a group of jws got out of the ugliest square box of a four-door car in my neighborhood, split up into two pairs and proceeded to do what i have to assume were not at homes.

  the two women were walking up the driveway of the home next door to me which hasnt had anyone living in it for five years and i watched just for kicks to see how long it took them to traverse the 100 feet or so to the front door.

  Im going to use the 'pioneer shuffle phenomina' reasoning to try to show my dad that he doesnt really believe it, i mean if he really deep down believed it he'd be telling everyone he knew and met in everyday life, but because he only does what hes told to and no more he deep down is just being forced to. (didnt we all i know?, i did) even though hes a grown ass man in his 50's!

  To break any chains left I remember calling my mum and telling her i smoked weed (just to have no secrets) talk about a burning your bra moment.

  hello in there ;-p. wow wow wow.... i never knew such a place existed.... unfortunatly i don't have a lot of time to type right now & believe me i'd need days, perhaps even weeks & i'd probably still feel like i wasn't done.... in short... my name is jodie, i'm from australia, i'm about to turn 32 & i am a jehovah's witness outkast... i wasn't kicked out, i left of my own accord when my parents divorced & i was about 14... my father, my younger brother & me - the 3 black sheep !!

  my father was disfellowshipped, he was an elder who also happened to have bi polar... the day ( or technically night ) my father was disfellowshipped was the saddest time of my life - it was more like a death or a funeral, something tragic... when my parents divorced i went to live with dad, i was always closer to my father plus when he left he had nothing... he lived on the river bank in the middle of winter for 6 weeks in a tent ( while his good christian jehovah's witness father & sister slept warm in their beds in the same town... ) dad bought a little caravan & he & i lived in it, eventually he bought some land & built a house & my younger brother joined us.... anyway to cut it all short... i've suffered badly from depression - so badly it's almost killed me & my brother also... the crux of our depression is our mother, our sister's, our grandfather, our aunt's & all of our relatives are jehovah's witnesses - most of them live in the same town as us altho they may as well live on the other side of the world.... you know, sitting here thinking about it all - it all makes perfect sense... how can families be torn apart like this, how do they not realise it is wrong & sad & wicked ??.

  i've spent more than half my life trying to have any sort of relationship with the rest of my family.... anyway i have to get going.... hasta la vista .

  Yep, reading your posts, Im very sorry about your situation especially the lack of love as a child when its so important, your definately not alone, crumpet is in the same boat with some extreme shunning being slung her way along with alot of others here. Its amazing family members can do it especially where grandkids are involved. Im from central coast, were you around that area? Like you said theres alot that faded I constantly wonder where they all are?? Im surprised a few more dont end up here but oh well hopefully they are lurking. We have a few NSWelshman that meetup every now and then i think you and your bro and old man would love it.

  I met Simon in England and we talked about how that has to be the worst thing about the society. If you lost a family member or child to their crazy doctrine.
