I have a child visitation/custody case in March and the blood transfusion policies of the GB are going to be a major point. Also the demand for blind obedience to the GB at the risk of DF'ing in all matters. Will let ya know how far this goes and if any of the GB are subpoenaed since they make and represent 100% of the decisions for Jehovah's Witnesses. I believe that once that fact is established in a court of law and withstands appeals from the WTBTS the floodgates of wrongful death judgements are going to open up on the WTBTS and it's affiliates.

Class Action Lawsuit in Wrongfull Death against the Governing Body
by frankiespeakin ini'm not very knowledgable about legal things but would there be any profitablity in a class action lawsuit in the wrongfull deaths caused by the governing body's enforcement of a "no blood transfusion allowed" policy which used the threat of disfellowshipment.
couldn't close family members sue and win?

How many of you were nervous?
by Confusedgirl inif you are taught the jw organization is your link to god, it is so hard to think of leaving everything.
like a hole that will not be filled again, there is so horrible things that have happened in the world, could it be that there is no everlasting life for us, so many questions and to think of giving up everyone makes me sick to my stomach.
but i want to be happy and i'm not, does anyone feel empty?

I felt really lost when I decided the WTBTS was causing people to be very judgemental and unloving. But when I found out about all their lies and doctrinal flip flops I felt free to exit without any guilt. I then started thinking if they lied about so much could they have been lying about Jesus, too. I started attending a big church and went in my worst threads just to get the reaction. I was treated like royalty and still am. The senior pastor tells me alot that he is honored that I am with them. It's all clear to me now. The WTBTS wants to keep the human race away from Jesus and they don't care how they do it. If you stay in your doomed and most people that leave the borg become atheists because of the hypocrisy. Either way the WTBTS has won. It has kept them from knowing and being known by Jesus so it just laughs and gets more people deceived by its mind controlling crap.

Record everything and make copies. Should the organisation turn on you just let themsee some of the incriminating evidence that you have accumalated and make sure those backstabbers are aware that someone somewhere has copies. They will get off that animal they've been riding and beg you to reconsider. What a bunch of losers.

Who really is the Faithful Discreet Slave?
Who alone is God using to communicate with humankind in these last days?
Let the undeniable record be a testimony to the true prophet of God.
Who really believes the crap spewing out of the mouth of a book publishing company?

It is obvious that jehovahs witnesses are not proud of their religion.
by Holey_Cheeses*King_of_the juice. inone could rightly expect, considering the urgency of the times, and the need 'to preach the good news of the kingdomtm' before the end arrives, that jws would be doing all they could to encourage 'like-heartedtm' ones along to their place of worship/study/meeting (or whatever they wish to call their kingdom hallstm).
instead, from my observations, they are doing their best to make the halls as uninviting as possible.. the case in point.
several days ago i drove past the front entrance to the fairly new kingdom hall in ballina where i spent my formative years in 'the truthtm'.

I've never been inside a KH but the three around here all look pretty good from the outside...well kept and they all have big "Kingdom Hall" signs. 2 are quite new; the other has been around for as long as I can remember. Hello Concerned Mom, Thank your lucky stars that you have never been inside a KH before. I'll be praying that you remain in the same state as I found you on here; ie never been in a KH before. There is a God after all.

Looking to Convert...
by swyven ini'm not currently a jehovah's witness, although maybe i am (?).
my father was a devout jehovah's witness, and he intended on indoctrinating me in the faith as i grew up...however, my mother took me away from him when i was 4 years old, and i haven't been able to find him since (i contacted the main hq in new york, but he couldn't be found anywhere).
i have read numerous books and articles which i've got from the watchtower store, and have read this website, www.watchtower.org and been involved in the yahoo!

Hello and welcome to this website. There are many very nice people here. A lot of us used to be Jehovah's Witness ministers, pioneers (a full time minister), elders, circuit overseers and residents at the World Headquarters of Jehovah's Witnesses located in Brooklyn, New York USA. Many of us also sincerely believe that God sent us to this website so that we could help and be helped by current and former Jehovah's Witnesses with various psychological problems and fears due to being involved with the religion known as Jehovah's Witnesses.
I sincerely pray that your father was able to distance himself from this religion and that you will be able to locate him. i am also praying for you so that you will see the religion known as Jehovah's Witnesses for the evil that it certainly is and its ability to destroy families and lives wherever its influence is felt.
Greetings,
Bob

Sweet Talk By Any Other Name Is Still Sweet Talk
by Kenneson inthe payson, arizona roundup contains a saccharine story entitled "jehovah's witnesses call all members family.
" under one of the photos is the caption: "members of the jehovah's witnesses of payson chose not to be photographed because they do not believe in setting one member above another member.
" almost made me puke.

I was so impressed by this excellent article that I clicked on the reporter's name and sent her an extensive email detailing the doctrines, changes to doctrines, publications encouraging lying under oath in child custody cases, the memorial ritual, medical issues and other miscellaneous documented facts about family oriented JW's around the world, complete with links to Silentlambs.org, AJWRB and Freeminds.org
That might wake her up to what the community of Payson ultimately will have to come face to face with. Do you guys think I did the right thing. I wouldn't want to stumble anyone or bring reproach to the WTBTS.

WT 15 ,2005,PAGE 13;WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?
by badboy inquote;.
however,if misdirected,self-examination that prompts to look for our"identity" or to search for answers outside our relationship with jehovah or the christian congregation will prove to be pointless and can be spiritually fatal.

I Wish I Could Apologize To Old Friends
by Robert K Stock inwhen i became a witness in ventura, california in 1973. i was 15 years old and in the tenth grade.
i was the only one in my family that was active though my mother, step father and my brothers thought the watchtower was the truth.

When I was a teenager the parents of the other kids would only let them go to the movies or anywhere else if I were going too. I would be the first person dropped off at home so the rest of them could park and make out!
Yeah, I used to be the laff of the party, too.
