Inconsistencies vs false teachings

i've been thinking and it is really the inconsistencies that kept mounting up in the things i read in watchtower literature and in watching the behavior of my fellow witnesses that pushed me out, rather than specifically finding out that something was false.. examples:.
millionaire elders who sent their kids to college.. only being destroyed without chance of a resurrection if you were alive when armageddon came.. 3000 people becoming annointed in 1 day in the apostles time and 2000 years later the 144,000 were still not full.. these are just a few but they mount up fast.

Profile: Successful WTBTS attrition of at least 2 studies, one approved associate and one baptised witness not to mention acquiring further hatred and loathing by many loyal JW's for abandoning Joe Hoba and accepting Christ a week after defecting during a local cable television braodcast.

How do you handle a Volitile Ex??

i have had problems with him from the get go when it comes to custody of our son.
we have gone to court and established some ground rules, which he consistantly bends & twists to suit him.

Maybe a great thing for you guys would be a divorced parenting class. Some states require them before finalizing a divorce. A good class stresses the importance of working together (without pointing fingers). It will show him that a child's parents fighting will change a child on the inside, forever, and give guidelines for maintaining good communication.
Great idea and it is the law in Tennessee. However, it has to work both ways.
Those evil bastards on the Governing Body of Jehovah's Witnesses have poisoned childrens' minds with their hateful campaigns against spouses and ex spouses who want to exercise their freedom to worship as they see fit.
It has reached a level of persecution against me and my child that I have never before seen. Yes, my child and untold numbers of other innocent children are victims of the Governing Body of Jehovah's Witnesses and their intense hatred and intolerance of other religious belief's.
There is good news. Court date on her contempt charge is Monday the 14th but I doubt that she or her attorney will show for the case.

What would you do if...
by zeroday inif you are da'd or df'd and an elder from your former hall ran into you in public and tried to engage you in conversation, what would you do.
would you talk to them or shun them as the rank and file are required to you.
i would walk away without even acknowledging their existence.

I greet and talk to all the JW's I meet in public. Only had one former PO and his wife run as fast as they could out of the retail chain store. It made for a good witness to bystanders about the love of Christ and the WT love that was displayed.
Most Jw's will talk to you if they think the WT Gestapo is not around to bring them up on charges of treason.

it's a little over a year now (2 years last february) that my family and i left watchtower and i can't begin to tell you how wonderful life has been!.
ok, i'm saddled with a serious illness at present and enough has been said about it, but i'd just like to focus on how much a family can really grow once it has been freed from watchtower's yoke.

what changes would you have made in the meetings or after the meetings to make jw life more appealing and still christian?

Donate to Easter Seal.
Work the phones for Jerry's Kids.
Donate to the Cancer Society.

Allow independent study of religious literature.
Donate to Leukemia research
Delete all the pioneers and have them do all of the above
Delete all elders and hire qualified pastors
