a commercial for the 11:00 news comes on and the so called top story is about the madrid train bombing and how vunerable the rail lines can be, and how it can happen here.

You know what's worse than that? They are also report the vunerabilities of the same systems that everyone uses around the world for a terrorist to exploit. Less thinking and planning for the terrorist. Gotta love that media.

I always loved when you are walking out to your car with fishing poles over your shoulder and one of the neighbors sees you. Then without missing a beat the neighbor just has to ask you "are you going fishing?" I always say, "not really, I am on my way to the archery range".

Drugs?
by be wise ini think this is my first debatable topic.
for anyone who has experimented with recreational drugs or who knows about someone who has how do you think they can change you for the better as well as for the worse?
i know a few ways in which they really changed me, i was very shy and never felt compfortable around people until i had my first experience and felt totally unhibited around a room full of people (talking in retrospect) and i never forgot what that felt like - it opened my mind and i learned to become much more confident.
