by OUTLAW ingood evening jwn... .
barbara is no longer vp at aawa..nor is she a member of aawa... she will not be discussing aawa on jwn,or on any other forum... barbara has friends at aawa and will help them out when she can... .
barbara has not given reasons to anybody for resigning... i believe she had too many irons in the fire... she had been expressing for weeks to friends that she was exhausted... from working on another project... everyone concerned will see the fruits of this project in the future... .

Could you honestly call the WTS. leaders disingenuous crooks ?
by Finkelstein intaking a long arduous look back onto the wts.
and its many leaders/head editorial writers.
there seems to be an apparent semblance of disingenuous bible interpretation and teachings that.

I wouldn't call the WT leadership, crooks. They are providing a service for the JWs, ie, "meat in due season from the F&DS class".
From time to time the WT has provided disclaimers in it's publications. When they took out the 1914 generation promise in the Awake in 1995 the WT told the JWs= all bets are off- the paradise is not promised to come before the 1914 generation passes away. JWs were free to leave or stick around the KH- but only for entertainment value. Judge Rutherford invented the dogma of the great crowd living on earth forever- if you don't like the Judge's religious dogma, then you are free to find a religion that teaches something that you do want- like floating on a cloud with Jesus in Heaven - naturally, the WT wants to hang onto as many JWs as possible as they are the only real buyers of the product the publishing company sells. If all the faders and disaffected JWs would just say, enough is enough of this crap and walk out of the KH, then the WT would have to downsize to a small publishing house without any power over the day to day life of JWs.

An apostate goes public
by Borges ini mentioned in a thread some weeks ago ( http://www.jehovahs-witness.net/jw/friends/244078/1/first-public-talk-as-an-apostate ), that i was invited to give a talk at a symposium about cults.
this will take place at the first weekend in may.. i'm going to talk about the difficulties you have to face when leaving the jw.
yesterday i've got an another invitation to speak to a senior year class in a middle school.

I spoke one time for a group that help a conference at a church. Once was enough. Talking about my old JW life got in the way of having a regular life and being thought of as a normal person.

Skygreen--Complaint noted-- I love women, especially the honest ones. Cougars are really honest women- my son told me all about them when he was in his mid 20's.-- he never had to pay for any dates, either.
Skygreen- I hope your family stays intact- you never know how JW spouses will react- nice one minute and then the next they take sides with the elders against you- anyway, you have a lot on your plate-- don't waste your time trying to read the motives of posters here--concentrate on you family.
The only hurt I had was from my JW wife who stabbed me in the back. I was honest- I am always telling it like it is- even if true words aren't kind. Taking the road of honesty is the best path, IMO- in the end you do find happiness- a deserved happiness, not one that was gotten through trickery.
You are an honest person- unlike some elders here who know it's a lie, but are still pretending to be good and loyal JWs- They don't see any problem with being deceptive.

Many women want to look for a new boyfriend while they are out on a date - that's right, they play a game.. They can scope out the guys , show off on the dance floor and when their date goes to the bathroom they flirt and get a phone number. I knew she was doing that- (guys talk), but it didn't bother me. I wasn't going to marry her- maybe she thought I would get jealous and change my mind. When I met the woman I knew was right for me, I asked her to marry me after six weeks of dating--- we have been married 12 years now.
I suppose the Internet dating sites make it easy to find a new relationship, before you leave the old one.- what is it called- plenty of fish or plenty of fools.com?

I was in a relationship like that for a couple years-- I knew after six months I wasn't going to marry her- I tried to wean her off off me, but she knew my weaknesses and always managed to get back in the picture. -- she never stayed away more than a couple months, I suppose she would rather have a sure date, dinner, movie, dancing and she had bedroom needs to be satisfied.. I am glad she finally found an engineer who transfered to her plant-- and he married her. I hope he bought her the cape cod style house with the fireplace and white picket fence she talked about.
Women have a shopping list- it's up to a man to find out what is on that list.

Mormon ambush at Walmart
by jws inwhile one might expect to have girl scouts trying to sell you things outside walmart.
today i brought my son to the walmart grocery store and as we were getting out of our car, mormons approached us.. they asked if i knew who they were.
and if i'd talked to them before.

moshe
Wow, I'll bet those Mormons will not be back at Walmart any time soon!
They will be back- no sense wasting a good trip to wally world for their weekly provisions of ramen noodles.

Well it might be your fault to some degree,
Iamallcool-- My former wife could have 30 orgasms in 30 minutes of sex-- I once had a girlfriend who would come in 15 seconds- stop, 15 more seconds, come again, stop, 15 more seconds come again, etc. She would apologize for coming so fast and finish me off with a BJ-- I often wondered why so many women are dead in bed--
( I analyze handwriting- PM me and I'll tell you what to look for)

For the guys -you mean, like when after a good 30 minutes of serious intercourse you come and she hasn't come yet-
say, I'm sorry, but unless I missed something, we both started at the same time.

Mormons are polite and they stick around for a discussion, unlike JWs who bail on anyone who tries to "show them something about the WT".
Mormons have large familes, and almost every relative is probably a Mormon- for them guys to leave would mean real isolation from their family for them.
The upside is saving over 10% a year of their money to Salt Lake and the local LDS stake tithes. If the WT tried to institute the tithe, the JWs would exit the KH really fast- JWs are cheap.- Giving anything over $20 is serious donation money.
