i just wanted everyone to know that this is the concllusion i have come to.
i have been trying to improve my dancing lately, but the harder i try the worse it gets.

I took many years of dance lessons, ballroom, nightclub, latin, etc. I came to this conclusion- It was easier for me to get a pilots license than to become a good dancer. I watched ladies advance from beginner classes to doing advanced ballroom easily and quickly- IF they found a partner who was an advanced level dancer and they could just follow along- for free. The men had to keep taking classes and paying out the big $$$. Stay off the dance floor- no man needs the fustration it brings

Despite Jesus' commands to take care of orphans,widows and the poor, the WTBS does not use it's millions for any public charitible work. They would deny the works of Mother Teresa as being Christian works, but would rather imply she was an agent of Satan due to her membership in the Catholic Church. They can't point to any similar JW Mother Teresa's but try to equate field sevice works with charitible works.The WTBS can organise a committee of elders to disfellowship you, but can't seem to organise a soup kitchen for the homeless. BUT, when financial need strikes the JW's will gladly accept help from the Red Cross and other charities. JW's are parasites. Moshe

they didn't laugh much.. i looked on the internet and found that in 1935 you had 52,000 partakers, last year you had 8570..according to the wt, 1935 was the cutoff date for new anointed, after 1935 all are replacements.
lets assume that in 1935 the average age for an anointed was 35 yrs, probably older, but this is convenient.
Is the 8570 number right? It's as simple as ABC A: 8570 is wrong. Almost all the anointed a very old. Only a few are left. Most of the 8570 are mistaken,they are not anointed. B: 8570 number is true, but almost all are replacements for those who were unfaithful- not likely as G-d is all knowing. C: none of the above is true- someone made a mistake in Bible doctrine. THAT means only 2 of the original 52,000 are left. The good news is that they are still at Watchtower headquarters in private rooms, on life support and faithfully directing the worldwide work. After another week of my Jewish humor , they banned me today. My last post today was the thread "have you every lied in the field service?" I was just starting to get some good confessions and got banned for disrespecting the JW's and their organisation- go figure.
Oh well , it was fun for awhile.

seeing this is the 5th anniversary of jwd, i was curious as to how many who still post here, were dyed in the wool jws, but later sucumbed to "the truth about the truth" .
were an active/semi-active jw, and this site and others were enough to convince you that your doubts had substance.
I've been out since 1988. I was a model Dub- made elder by age 25 , 3 years after my baptism. That was in the year 1975. -By 1977 I was back to being a Dub- I Tried the born-again Christian thing for a couple years -1989-91,didn't take. I married a nice Jewish lady in 2000, I converted to Judaism a year later.I found out I was born a natural born Jew- gripe,complain ,Kvetch and tell a good joke, too. Oh, yea- I make a great chicken soup. I enjoy this group a lot- it's a good collective, I mean group, to belong ,too

being a non-witness, i'm unsure of the official teaching on this.
I knew of a JW lady who took meals over to an elderly man, she did lots of nice things for him- when he died she inherited the house. She was working on another elderly woman , but the family stepped in.

i'm reading through a bit of the e-watchman website and forum after seeing he was disfellowshipped, maybe because i'm not a longtime reader or whatever but what's the deal with the site?
it seems to me that he's trying to get people to believe his interpretation of the bible and wt teachings instead of the way the elder's and society make you interpret it.
at least my view, am i correct in this, is there someone who can give me a quick run-down of what the e-watchman is and what's up with his site?
I just got banned from e-watchman today. I lasted about 10 days. They couldn't take my Jewish humor.
I gave an example of an oxymoron= Jehovah's Witness Truth, no laughs from them on that one. My final post was the thead: "have you ever lied in field service?" I started it today and the moderator didn't like any JW's admitting to being liars- no mea culpa's -He axed me.
Mr watchman, the leader thinks he can reform the WTBS- he's one of the anointed-the new organised book rules are getting him DF'd. He's history.

i have thought about putting togther an apostaglossary to identify those particular sayings and their true meaning; i have included a few to start the ball rolling;.

i noticed a couple of pics of the guys on jw.com that some of you kept your hair long in the 70's.
i can't picture any of you guys getting away with and still being considered "in good standing" with anything that drooped below the ears.

Not only did MS and some elders have longish hair in the 70's, they also wore leisure suits and gave talks wearing them. I also remember the shorter brothers wearing some platform shoes.
I sure wish I hadn't become a JW so young- I missed the disco scene.
