Go back 200 or so generations and meet your hunter- gatherer ancestors. Try as you might those genes won't go away. Why do you think golf is so popluar? Men still want to wield a club or spear and be victorious in the hunt. As long as man has food and shelter he can keep his primal nature in check. Governments know what will happen if it's citizens run out of food, beer and cigarettes,too. New Orleans ( Katrina) was a window to our past human nature.

i have posted below my letter of annulment for anyone that wants to use it.
they said that they would not honour it because i was baptised for too long and had entered pioneering and bethel.
however, i know of several people where annulment did work, but generally if they were baptised for only a couple of years and had not accepted 'privileges".
I will make copies of this for a midnight run soon. I occasionally drive through a neighboring KH late at night and just drop a few things in the parking lot. Haven't done so in a year or so- time for another run! I imagine that someone will pick this up and read it- a f ew days outside makes them look like some lost advertising flyer - trash to be picked up. If some teenage finds them. they have a good chance of breaking free.
I wish I still had a copy of my original annulment letter I sent to the WT in 1988- wait a minute, I know a former Ex-JW in Florida who I am sure kept copies of all my letters. I will call him and see if he can send me a copies .

I did an analysis recently about the cost of the war in Iraq. Had the US spent all the Iraq war money instead on a massive wind farm in key areas of the great plains instead, it would produce enough electricity for 1/3 of the residential homes in America. Soon enough money will have been spent for 50% of the homes in the US to have renewable power. What do you think would have happened to the price of Texas crude oil if our government had done this? And that my friends is why our capitalistic system will ultimately destroy the middle class in the America, unless we throw out both ruling parties and elect a new one that will move us to a totally renewable energy based economy. Otherwise, the rising graph of future oil prices will leave everybody but the top 1% literally "out in the cold".

an ever growing number of witnesses would like to leave the organization - but how?
you may have an extended family "in the truth".. all your "friends" ( and that word "friends" deserves to be put in quotes ) may be "in the truth".
you may not be in any position to make.
I always remember the ones the Elders were glad to see leave were the Needy ones. You need lots of help from the Elders- free help- lots of it, home repairs,car repairs, gas money to get to the assembly- you had a bad run of Luck- I mean misfortune at work, can you help with some groceries. You can't ask for worldly charity or file bankruptcy it would bring reproach on the KH,etc. Lots of in home counseling from the Elders for depression, fatique,etc. After a few weeks of this they will be relieved that you are taking a second job and don't come to the KH now due to the extra hours you are working.- They will be happy you don't bother them or borrow money from them. If they show up at your door later, have a ready made reason to ask for help again- "I'm so glad you came over- I was just thinking of calling you, blah,blah- can you help out a brother,etc." JW's are so tight , they will leave you alone. most european and nth american lands show pretty static figs - britain 1% increase, canada 0%, germany 0%, france 1%, usa 0%... but spare a thought for the inhabitants of zambia where 1 person in 90 is a reporting witness, must be hell going down to the local market!
I still remember the big full tracts that we put out the winter of 1974. It was so important to warn everyone in our territory. My wife and I plowed through 2 foot high snow to reach homes some Saturdays. The homeowners looked at us like we were nuts- we were.

i have been lurking for some time and only recently started to post if you have seen my posts, i have always represented myself as a loyal jw and one who is planning to stay in however, lately my faith and commitment as a jw has been tested and, without going into details, i am having problems of faith and life that i could really use some help on.
if so, you might ask, why dont i just leave?
well, i have a wife that is a very devout jw and she would be crushed and very upset if i quit she believes it all 100% and lives to worship the borg in fact, she would be very upset if she even knew i was visiting this site.
Reality? - Seriously,you have been in a cult-like , mind controlling religion and if your family doesn't see the new light it could get ugly. If you fail to exit carefully, your family will turn on you at some point and you could out on the street with just a cardboard box full of your things- oh, and a Sheriff's restraining order to stay away from your house. Sorry to break the bad news, but it won't be easy to leave without getting hurt in the process. If you don't mind letting the elders take over your headship of the family, then try and do a slow fade- the "ol, I'm depressed routine. Watch for your wife's readiness to leave,too. Have fun with the family, do new things. Make the KH a boring place for them .
- Now you have knowlege- Pandora's box has been opened and there is no going back. Been there, had the worst happen and survived to start a new and wonderfull life. Good Luck.

Blood transfusion, organ transplant- it's not a problem to save a life.

The good plan for you is to stage a fake accident at home- fall off a ladder and have a fake head injury. Bad headaches- intense pain- start rambling during the WT study- bring a drool cup- yell out- study how to do a tourettes syndrome outburst. Pretty soon you won't have to go to the KH meetings or out in service , and no elders will ask why you don't come to the meetings anymore , you have a doctors slip! -and then, your headache will go away for good. good luck, Moshe
