I think my cat is a crack addict! :S
by Elsewhere inok, it isn't really crack... but it might as well be!.
i have to be very careful not to leave any plastic bags anywhere around my apartment or my cat will try to eat it.
i'm always paying close attention to the plastic bags that i bring home from the store... they all go straight in to a covered trash can so that the cat can't get them.. now, for the last two days he has been puking all over the place and i can't find any plastic that he might have been eating off of... but i am finding the plastic in his puke... so i know thats what is going one.

by Peppermint ini used to install double-glazing, during this period i was an active witness and worked with a guy who had just come into the truth.
now i don?t know if builders are the same the world over, but the first thing we would do when we got to site was demand a cupa and ask where we could plug in our beatbox.
this would normally be met with a sigh and a resigned look from the householder.

Too funny. I was young, but remember helping to build the KH in Ukiah, CA. One of the younger brothers who worked for the brick mason, and whom I adored (first crush), gave me a budwiser bottle to put in the foundation. I added a couple more in other places for him before the place was finished.
Don't think anyone left a tract or anything...

Had the elders once tell my husband that the story in the bible where Jesus told the woman who had committed adultry to, 'Go. And sin no more." had been added to the bible by apostates in an effort to corrupt the faithful. It kind of ruins their justification to df people who re-marry.
Think they got that idea from the 'spirit annointed' GB? One can only wonder...

Of course his dad & family is teaching him that my beliefs are wrong...which is why I started looking. I do take him to my church, he is learning another side.
Make sure the court knows this. He should be barred from putting the child in the middle like this. Saying, 'this is what daddy believes, and that is what mommy believes' is one thing, saying, 'mommy is wrong and bad' is entirely another matter and should be addressed.
when I try to talk to him about our son, she jumps in there, tells me what I do wrong, what a bad person I am, etc
If she is doing this in front of your son, the court can impose sanctions on her. Might remind her of that and definitly talk to your lawyer. If the lawyer says there is nothing you can do, get another one who is better and not so lazy.
They've even taken to encouraging my son to call her mom. Which is direct violation of our custody order, but he doesn't care.

You sound like a mother who hates to see the pain her son is in. That is NOT pathetic.:) Have you ever gone to a kingdom hall for a meeting that they went to? If you do, be sure that your son sits with you not them. May be uncomfortable and I am not suggesting that you get a bible study going with them or anything, but may be enlightening as to exactly what they are doing to your baby. Nifty side effect is that Attila will be steaming the entire time if that makes you happy. Don't know if I'd sit with them though.

As I've been reading this, I just think yup, yup, yup... as has been said before, 'thanks WTS'. Had to get my degree after leaving the org so that I could pursue better positions. It took me 6 years and 23k while raising a family and working a full time job.
How many of us heard our jw ex-husbands say that we should not go to college or question their authority but rather be submissive since they were our husbandly owners? <wretching here>
