now that i can see right through the crap that is the jw religion, i sometimes ask myself - how come you blindly believed all that rubbish for 30 years??!!

i am so annoyed with myself for that - i have a degree, yet i was totally duped for such a large part of my life.

and now that i can see how so full of holes it all is, i kick myself for not seeing it before.

Compared with the rest of religion, alot of what they taught made sense. After all, in most other religions you don't learn anything. It's 99% social/entertainment. It's like the difference between 3rd grade and high school and the reason you can't go back to church.

Ugh, just got out of a ride to tomrrow's assembly...

two recently married couples just offered to give me and my bro a ride to the assembly tomorrow.

ugh, i so don't want to go, but my fade isn't going too well (considering i live with my gung-ho brother) and i need to keep up appearances, but i sure as hell am not going the whole day.

i have a feeling i'm going to wake up very, very late, and maybe catch part of the second half.

Yup, once you're in, they own you. One thing you might want to ask the elders is why if partaking of Memorial Emblems is only for the anointed, why observe that prohibition on the one hand but yet be baptized on the other, when both were instructions given by Jesus.

Crap... Elders coming over tonight for a pep talk

well its finally here........ the day i get the pep talk.. considering i havent been out in service for 6 months and i never comment because i cant parrot the wt, and i havent been to the book study in 2 months cause the revelation book makes me nausious........ (that why no more revelation weekly reviews --- sorry oompa!

yet when i talk with bro's and sis's i seem to be the one in the know, i am the one that knows what is going on in the org and am up on the "new light".

i am "so smart".

Depression, pre-occupied with work, etc is good. If they start with anything dangerous just say you don't care to discuss anything doctrinal and then get back to depression and work if they ask why.
