The GB: evil manipulators or misguided fools
by New Worldly Translation ini've been pondering this question for a while now and i haven't come to a conclusion yet.
on the one hand there is evidence of psychological manipulation in their publications.
they discourage questioning of their authority or even their fallability and try to whitewash past mistakes.

The most eye opening thing I've ever seen on this topic is the "Disclosure Project". You can download it here: http://www.netro.ca/disclosure/npccmenu.htm
It's not your typical eyewitness accounts of ppl in a cornfield with tractors in the background saying that they saw UFOs.

ithinkisee,
I felt the same way too when I got mine from Amazon but in time you'll realize that they are just books. No big deal. Very important books. You'll have a hard time putting it down. I personally liked Coc better even though the last chapeter of ISCF is tremendous. Congrats for taking this step.
You may change your screen name from ithinkisee to iseeitnow after you are done.
Enjoy!

Are there any 'true' churches ?
by Qcmbr injust a question because of course we all either believed we were in the 'truth', are still in the 'truth' have left and found the 'truth', there is no 'truth' or that the only truth is found in the trailer park with a bottle of bud and a bunch of 'pozzies:)

True churches - No
Truth - yes. Not found in any organized group or denomination of any kind. No one group or individual has a monopoly on it. It's there to be discovered by all.

Yes its the deeeminzzz.
If you dont believe in them, it's up to you.
I assume with these types of cynical resposes that a lot of you no longer believe in higher entities of existence whether good or bad. That's fine too.
Unfortunately it seems that your negative experiences with the WT and religion in general has seemed to trivialize these types of important issues and turned them into a joke. I think of it as a defense mechanism because of the emotional, psychological wounds because of what you have gone through. It's completely understandable, I'm there too.
Just remember this thread when you start seeing a different world around you. You aint seen nuthin yet. If you think nothing is changing and things will stay the same, I have news for you...it's already happening. You just dont see it on CNN that's all.
I just want to throw that out there. Do what you want with it.

first of all you assume that many christians reject the freemasons, and then as now, this is most certainly not the case.
You hit the nail on the head. Christians DONT reject the freemasons. True Christians SHOULD reject any type of freemasonry.
This is why I believe all religions are a diversion from the real truth.
Also Littletoe
Let me try another track - why would it be a bad thing if he were found to be a Mason?
If you really had done the research ad nauseum you wouldn't ask this question. Freemasonry, Knights Templar (involvement in the middle ages), Illuminati are all part of a large umbrella throughout history that have been affecting the outcome of events and are directing them to a certain outcome in the near future. Simply put, demonic influences to create a NWO with a totalitarian govt. Kinda sounds like a certain bible prophecy that we're all familiar with doesn't it?
There are a number of modern organizations with different names that are pretty much the same people at the upper tiers of authority (whom are informally referred to as Illuminati):
Bilderberg Group, Skull and Bones, The Bohemian Club, Freemasons.
Only the top level members of these organizations have any idea what's really going on. One hint: they're not thinking about your welfare.

If the WTS THEMSELVES placed the pyramid there, it would even further prove their association with freemasonry. Either way, whether the freemasons put it there ot the WTS put it there, a true, clean holy org. of the true God would not have such symbology associated with it.
Did you know that the Brooklyn assembly hall also has pagan symbology on its structure?
If you're not familiar with the pagan, occult symbols of the pyramid, cross with the crown, winged sun disk...do some googling. You'll be surprised.

With the freemason/illuminati that placed the structure at his grave, i guess that there's nothing you can do about that even though it gives your 'holy' org. a bad image. The WT would be in big trouble for trying to even think about removing it.
I wouldn't be surprised if a substantial part the society's funds are being invested in interests that are benefitting the NWO agenda and actively being a part of it's plans. Oh wait...how could I forget? They own large amounts of stock in the Rand Engine Co. who is contracted by the U.S. military. Oh...they were also an NGO of the UN for 10 yrs. Remember, these are things that have taken place that none of the regular members are aware of.
How silly of me to EVEN to think that they are part of a larger conspiracy to mislead the ppl.

Golf,
It's refreshing to finally hear from someone who gets it. I think I'll take a look at that book you mentioned. It sounds interesting.
If Charles Russell was not a mason and the WT is not a part of that, I dont understand why that pyramid structure still exists today. Wouldn't you think the WT would have done something to get rid of that long ago since such a pagan, demonic symbol exists on the grave of the founder of their organization which claims to be the material representation of God's heavanly org? Especially for such a sensitive org. when it comes to paganism. Something definitely seem right.
I totally agree with you that history is full of conspiracies and continues today. the problem is that most of them sound so far fetched that ppl refuse to believe them and look down upon those who mention them as lunatics. It's all designed that way. Anyone who has done the research and has given it the least bit of thought knows better. The ppl that haven't done their homework and only rely on info that is spoon fed to them are usually the ones that dismiss them outright... later to find out what's really happening at which point they say, "I always knew that".
Thanks for the refreshing post

I apologize if this info came across as my trying to present this as absolute FACT.
It was never intended to be so.
Preaching my beliefs and trying to convince others is not the reason why I am on this board. That would set me back to the days when I would try to do that in a suit and tie placing magazines looking for 'sheep'.
This is something that I think makes a lot of sense to me and put it out there for whoever wants to take a look.
Take it for what it's worth. That's how I view all the information that is out there. I don't think there is absolute truth in any one place anywhere. There are bits and pieces that can be found everywhere and we just need to piece these together. After all is said and done, everyone's finished version after piecing it all together will be different. I don't even believe in EVERYTHING that forbiddenknowledge site says. I DO think that there is some info in there that cant be ignored though. No one said that if you believe in something you have to swallow the whole thing. That's what we were trained to do in the WTS. Believe in the parts that make sense to you from many different sources.
The key is not to judge another's unique philosophy because it's different from yours. This is the major flaw of all religions and has become a part of the fabric of society unfortunately. Everyone's journey is different and everyone will come to different conclusions. The absolute truth will manifest itself in time and we will all find out together.
