  i've been thinking about this for a little while and it appears that this is a possibility.

  although i cant say that there is solid evidence, it looks as if the clues are there:.

  Sure thing.

  First of all, here is some background info on the Russell family from Fritz Springmeir's research:

  The Russell family appears to have moved from Germany to Scotland and from Scotland to northern Ireland. In the 1820’s Alexander G. Russell went to New York City and then onto Orange Co., NY. He could write firsthand how good it was. When the Potato famine hit during the 1820s, the Russells did not have the roots to Ireland that the original Irish had, and the rest of the family moved to America, except for Fannie’s husband Alexander Harper, who stayed behind in Donegal estranged from his wife. The family tree looked like this:

  Let’s comment about the type of Russells that keep appearing throughout the course of the history of the New World Order as this author went about his research. To summarize, these various Russells (who until the genealogy work is done to show the connections should be viewed as individuals -- not a group) have been prominent members of the Illuminati, the Masons, the Fabians, the Mormons, the Jehovah’s Witnesses, the Jesuits, the Royal Society, and the Media controlled by those of the New World Order, and a deputy chairman of the Federal Reserve. Typically they have been merchants and lawyers, with a fair share of them also as Christian heretics. It will be easier perhaps to illustrate how the Russells keep popping up in the New World Order story line by listing a good sampling of them.

  George William Russell (1869-1935) - leading member of the Dublin Theosophist lodge, wrote art. for the theosophic periodical The Irish Theosophist. Initiated into the Lodge of Isis (with it sexual rites). The keynote of his work is from the Bhagavadgita. He was a good friend of Golden Dawn leader William Butler Yeats who wrote some of the Satanic Masonic Rituals for the Golden Dawn.’ 15

  Archibald D. Russell (1811-1871) - A Presbyterian Mason who graduated from the Univ. of Edinburgh, Scot. He studied at the Univ. of Bonn, Ger. and was active in setting up various organizations in the United States. 17

  Benjamin Russell (1761-1845)- Mason and early American Journalist. 18

  Charles H. Russell - Governor of Nevada, 1950-58, and 32º Mason, also in the York Rite, and a Shriner. 19

  J. Stuart Russell - Mason and newspaper editor and deputy chairman of the Fed. Reserve Bank in Chicago. 20

  Before going to our next section would be worthwhile to cover the family that Bertrand Russell came from. They hold the title of Dukes of Bedford. Ordo W. Russell served in Lord Palmerston’s office from 1850-52. He served as unofficial ambassador for Great Britain to the Vatican from 1857-70. His son Baron Ampthill was Grand Master of the English Masons 1908-1935. He joined the English equivalent of the Knights of Malta - that is the Order of St. John of Jerusalem, and served as the Grand Master of the lodge formed at the Bank of England! He was appointed head of the Indian Masons of Madras, India (home of the Theosophical Society). Ordo Russell’s son also served in some high political positions.

  Captain Joseph H. Russell- original investor in stock in the Mormon Deseret Manufacturing Co. which was intended to be an umbrella company for many early Mormon enterprises. 36

  The Russell who opened a store with Mormon blessings in the newly created Salt Lake city. The store was called Miller, Russell & Co., a branch of Russell, Majors, & Waddell, and was a primary source of goods in the area of Utah. 37

  OTHER RUSSELL'S

  Baron Charles Russell (1832-1900)- Solicitor (Lawyer) in Ulster and advocate for Ireland. 38

  Jerome Russell a Greyfriar, burned in 1539 for heresy with John Kennedy in Glasgow, Scot. 39

  Philemon R. Russell- editor of the Christian Herald & Journal, in the Mar. 19, 1840 issue he stressed 2,520 years in prophecy, which was an idea C. T. Russell would later pick up and promote.

  William Howard Russell- first war correspondent for London’s The Times newspaper in 1854. The London Times has long been part of the World Order, that William was the first of his kind is quite significant.

  It would sound absurd to hear that the WT has an occult influence because of the hard line stance that they take against it and strict policies to adhere to certain 'righteous' standards. But who would've thought they could be involved in the UN? They didn't tell anyone about it did they? In fact, didn't they appear to aggressively oppose the UN the whole time?

  Also how much does anybody really know of the true origins of this organization and what CT Russell really had in mind? It's really not fair to judge an individual merely by looking at his family background but as you can see above, the Russell family is no ordinary family. This means CT Russell was not your avg. dude either. I'm not saying that it is absolute truth that the WTS is a front for some other purpose but the possibility is there.   - Clandestine involvement with the UN as an NGO

  - Owning 50% stock in the Randcam Corp which is a MAJOR military contractor that is involved in top secret govt projects.

  - The Russell family from which Charles Taze is a member of, is a very powerful and influential family in world affairs and involved in occult practices and also founded the Skull and Bones fraternity at Yale (if you are not familiar with this google it for info).

  - Fred Franz was selected for a Rhodes scholarship. Cecil Rhodes established the scholarship to indoctrinate the intellectual elite into the world government philosophy. Rhodes was another prominent member of world affairs who was an active proponent of a one-world government and involved with the Russell family as well.

  - The "Watchtower" is a powerful esoteric symbol used in Enochian magic which also frequently uses the phrase "Golden Dawn" within its vocabulary.

  - The Bible which the WT publishes is called the "New World Translation". This name is interesting because it uses the same terminology as the "New World Order" which George "the father" Bush talked about in 1990 and countless others who are proponents of this.

  - The WTS constantly emphasizes that God's kingdom is a government when it is actually not the case if you read Jesus' many references to it. The kingdom is heavenly. This is very clear.

  - The biggest thing for me is this. Where is all the $$$ going? No one really knows.

  The JW decisively false concept of Armageddon.

  the jws have a certain understanding of armageddon and the immediate period prior to it that is completely false.

  for example there is no reason to believe that they (or anyone else) are doing a pre armageddon preaching separating work but to the contrary given their anti christ behaviour they are clearly not fit for this purpose.

  so the end can't be near.

  A common misconception of Armagedon by JWs is that it is the name of an event when it actually is not. The world Armageddon is mentioned only once in Rev. 16;16 and if you read it carefully, it is not an event. It is a place. A place where the military might of the world is gathered for a great war during the end times.

  There are a lot of frightening events that happen during this time period but it is not given a name. Jesus' mentioned that there would be great tribulation as never experienced before. Another common misconception is that JWs think that the great tribulation is also the label of some specific time period when it is not. Jesus was merely using that term to describe the difficulty of living during that time.

  JWs commonly think that Armageddon is some mega-storm that Jehovah is causing where everything will be destroyed, buildings toppled over and wicked people will be randomly killed (as in the one brochure illustration with Will Smith and John Lithgow look-a-like corpse) and JWs surviving. Nothing could be farther from the truth. Thats not how Revelation describes the end times. The climax of the end times described in Revelation is the return of Jesus in his glory as he resurrects the dead and gathers the surviving faithful as both groups are transformed and meet him in the air. It's funny how the WT ignores this fact that the bible clearly talks about. Instead, they focus on the fact that Jehovah will murder billions of ppl randomly at an event called "Armageddon".

  make one truth. Idiots!

  This describes brainwashing techniques used by an agent of the establishment.

  Does this sound familiar to you?

  To think that we were frustrated at the fact that the subject matter at the meetings kept repeating themselves, boring and the same ole crap.

  Maybe it was never meant to be interesting? Maybe it was designed that way? 62,400 repetitions = one truth!

  Now repeat after me:

  WTS = God's visible organization.

  Do that 62,399 more times.

  amos 3:1414: "that on the day i punish israel for his transgressions, i will punish the altars of bethel, and the horns of the altar shall be cut off and fall to the ground.

  amos 4:44: "come to bethel, and transgress; to gilgal, and multiply transgression; bring your sacrifices every morning, your tithes every three days; .

  Isn't it interesting that the JW HQ is referred to as Bethel (House of God)?

  Everyone takes it for granted that the Israelites worshipped Jehovah there, thus making it a fitting name.

  The Bible states otherwise:

  Amos 3:14

  14: "that on the day I punish Israel for his transgressions, I will punish the altars of Bethel, and the horns of the altar shall be cut off and fall to the ground.

  Amos 4:4

  4: "Come to Bethel, and transgress; to Gilgal, and multiply transgression; bring your sacrifices every morning, your tithes every three days;

  Even the Insight book under the subject of Bethel states that the Israelites worshipped golden calves there and was a place known for idolatry. It was so prevalent that it says Bethel became a "symbol of idolatry".

  Well, I guess the name "House of god" is correct but the question is...which god?

  Isn't it amazing that stuff like this isn't even noticed by the avg. JW? Is this an example of the WT deliberately deceiving their followers in front of their face?

  i'm really getting into learning about how jehovah's name isn't really in the nt and i'm starting to use my kit.

  then i realized, because i forgot, that i had an emphatic diaglot produced by the society around 1940s.

  I have been especially bothered by the fact that the name Jehovah isn't really in any old Greek manuscripts. And, as brought out on a separate thread that the dubs picked and chose where to insert God's name in the NT based on later Hebrew translations (there is a separate thread about that somewhere here).

  I'm very interested in this topic. I always found it odd that Jesus never used Jehovahs name and in translations other than the NWT, Jehovah is never mentioned in the NT. What is the greek word where the name Jehovah is inserted by the NWT? Is it kyrios? What is the literal translation of it?

  144,000 going to heaven, based on what??

  let's face it, most jw's believe that there is clear biblical evidence that shows that only 144k will go to heaven and rule as kings during the 1000 yr reign.

  when examining this topic without the aid of anything but the bible itself, it paints quite a different picture.

  you would need to make some blind assumptions to come to the wt conclusion regarding this topic.. jws take it for granted this scripture rev.

  That's right. Notice the Bible refers to the kingdom as the 'Kingdom OF the heavens" not "Kingdom IN the heavens".

  We aren't going anywhere up there somewhere. We will experience unbelievable changes "in the twinkling of an eye" as the scripture says.

  Hmm..I found this interesting

  U.N. planners have found commercial space across the East River in Brooklyn that could serve as a temporary home while the United Nations' iconic glass-and-steel headquarters in Manhattan gets a long-overdue renovation, Secretary-General

  From what I know of the geography from working in bethel, the only commercial space suitable for that kind of thing across the East River in Brooklyn belongs to the WT. 360 Furman bldg.(sold recently), 25 Columbia hgts.

  As much as I would like for this to turn out to be a smoking gun, the WT couldn't be THAT stupid could they???

  Of course I could be wrong and there may be other commercial space that I dont know of.
