this is an essay i am posting on freeminds... i'm posting it here too for good measure.... it is well known that the 9-11 attackers had a belief in an afterlife.
as the story goes, apparently they believed that after they would die gloriously, having killed thousands of american infidels, they would be taken into paradise and would enjoy the company of 72 virgins.. .
i think it is quite easy to see the connection between the belief in such an afterlife and the nefarious deeds that these men committed.
Naw AG you are wrong. Its not the belief. It is basing your life around and unfounded belief that sucks (or may not suck) for you. In extreme examples that might suck for other people too. Then again basing your life on a founded belief might suck for other people as well.

i have been out over 5 years now.
i feel we all start healing at different speeds depending on how much hurt we went through in exiting ; and how much we've educated ourselves about how and why we were sucked in by a mind control cult.
at first i felt anger towards the organization , but after learning about mind control within 3 years of leaving the cult i felt sorry for those who are still trapped inside the witnesses being deceived.

Our economy has been based on the necessity of more and more growth rather than sustainability. Growth as an operating principle has enriched the few, impoverished the many and is now endangering the planet. Unchecked capitalism does not work for a civilized society. |
You are right but for the wrong reason. Capitalism isnt the problem. The growth is in want of debt as our 'economy' is a debt money economy. In order for our 'economy' to grow there must be an exponecial growth in debt=an exponencial growth in borrowing debt notes to 'pay' (DISCHARGE) for things we dont need. (Sorry for the run on sentence)
