Hey Lisa,
Just be careful who you complain to.
i had to write about my experience at the hall.
we were taught about how wrong it is to show favoritism etc.
well i found as i had no family as jw and went off my own back, i was excluded from many events.
Hey Lisa,
Just be careful who you complain to.
i have had a week to reflect on my life and was thinking about what i have seen, what i am going through, and where i am going.
i know many of you here experience unbelievable pain, suffering, anger, depression, and disbelief.
i have lived with these myself.
I agree with your sentiments, Jewel. I like to think of myself as one of the those elders who was truly concerned about the welfare of others and certainly not in the "in" crowd. My efforts to help others lead to my ousting. It's been about 8 months since my departure. I was visited by CO 4 months ago. He wanted to know what happened to me.
My response was, 'for the first time I am truly happy. My family is happy and that's all that matters.' Needless to say, he was speechless. My point is, like some many others.....Just be happy and dont think about the unhappiness!!
thanks to everyone who contributed to the earlier post i made today.
after a few hours of consideration i believe the slow fade probably is the best choice for my situation.
by just gradually reducing my meeting attendance i can still maintain contacts with friends and family and still find liberation from the tower.
Four words of advice.....GET IT OVER WITH! Don't waste time pretending to be something that you are not. Get on with the 'real life.'
