  Memorial or insult?

  let me preface this with a disclaimer.

  i believe in god and a higher spiritual state however i do not believe that god can be encapsulated in any one religion.. that being said, i was thinking the other day about the upsoming high holy day of dubdom, the memorial.. this is where they gather together to ...what?

  listen to a talk about the last hours of jesus life and then pass wine and bread around.

  Was Eve Deceived?

  i was asked the question, how was eve deceived and not adam?

  persons that believe adam and eve were placed in the garden the very same 24 hour day are wrong.

  even the society after the 1975 failure, only then did they act upon the fact that eve was placed in the garden sometime after adam.

  Angels Are God's Holy Spirits

  there are many debates about the trinity and jesus being michael the archangel and not much about the holy spirit.

  the watchtower has tried so hard to not personalize the holy spirit in fear of the trinity being accepted, they accept only the active force of god as being the holy spirit.

  when in reality it is not hard to see that all the angels are god's holy spirits.

  jehovahs witnesses are lovely people, i should know - i officially still am one ... but ... although their great cult leader, judge joseph rutherford, banned them from taking part in the evil pagan celebrations of birthdays and such, there is one ceremony that is ridgedly and solemly adhered to.

  the anual celebration of the "lords evening meal".

  as most here are aware, each nissan14, kingdom halls around the world are packed to the collection boxes with the 'happiest people on earth'.

  to all of you, who live in the awful illusionary realities of the watchtower world, where everything has gotten so much worse since 1914, will hate the following information so i recommend all faithful jehovah's witnesses not to read any further as this could seriously harm your ability to maintain the doom and gloom mindset so carefully projected into your minds by the watchtower literature and at the meetings.

  time again for me to face the ridicule and you to face the facts that the 144,000 are replacing the fallen angels.

  just 21 reasons, not much reading but a lot of facts.. .

  I Can`t Get To Grips With This FDS Thing.

  i`m trying to understand the process by which jw`s link the "faithful and discreet slave" parable to a belief that this refers to a number of people who will go to heaven ie: 144,000.. also, i am trying to understand how, by extension, some of this number comprise a "governing body" that is at the top of "jehovahs earthly organisation".. i really dont understand how these conclusions are reached and would appreciate some input.

  please note that when i posted this question on h20 some months ago i received only 1 reply from friday, who saw fit to ridicule me for my lack of knowledge on this subject.

  i still don`t know the answer!

  we are a small group dedicated to proclaiming jehovah's kingdom both of the 144,000 in heaven and a perfect world for the rest of perfect mankind.. but, we cannot agree entirely with the societies view of why only the 144,000 go to heaven and their wrong count of the animals taken into noah's ark.. we use biblical and scientific reasoning in believing that the 144,000 are going to heaven to replace the sinning angels.

  we use only the bible and the societies publications to prove our point about the proper animal count.. we realize you are instructed not to read other than watchtower material, yet jehovah instructs us to make sure of all things.

  if you only take the time to read verses 8 and 9 of genesis 7, you will have to agree that both the clean and unclean animals went into the ark two by two or by twos, for the total number of 14 for the clean animals as shown in verse 2, male and female by sevens.. the society says, that only the unclean animals went in by twos.

  the signs and wonders that jehovah gave us, added to the bible writings completes the bible's outline directed to us.

  by using the animals representing certain people it just makes it easier to understand jehovah's direction.. besides this, the number 144,000 stands alone with its exact numbeerrneeded in heaven.
