  ellipsis is defined as the omission of words from a sentence, sometimes indicated by (...).

  in all my life i have never ever seen such use of (...) in any publication other then those put out by the wb&ts.

  Tenrats,

  Another usage of bad journalistic practice is using quotes with no person or organization attached. This is very common in the tabloids. You see it in the WT material. By placing something in quotations gives the statement an impression of authority or fact. e.g. As a well known journalist / scientist / Greek scholar recently said " put anything here " shows how we?re a great organization. There can be no law suits because who said it?

  i personally feel they will have to "adjust" the fds doctrine.

  the tricky thing is that the fds (whoever they are) won't approve this change while they're still alive.

  they don't care, they subconsciously feel it's their end anyway and they won't undermine their doctrinal position having lost all corporate power.. so who will send this beam of new light?

  There are already plenty of examples in JW history to show that this change, when it does come, will affect a small amount of publishers, but, overall successful to maintaining the multi-billion dollar corporation.

Clearly we can see this as our anointed brothers. These brothers not only get the greatest glory, but also, take any glory giving to the wicked slave. That slave being Christendom,(the b?stards).   i was raised roman catholic but stopped going about 25 years ago.

  i was talking with someone i work with who is a jw and suggested i might look into it.

  so here i am.............

  Declining Meeting Attendance-CO visit

  so we have our circuit overseer this week.

  we're getting the crap kicked out of us (figuratively) for our meeting attendance.

  we have attendance in the 70% range for some of our meetings.

  Roy Harper sings 'Have A Cigar? on Wish you were here.

  His early days involved being brought up by a Jehovahs Wittness, I believe he ran away from home to join the air force to get out of it!

  I saw him in concert in the eighties, and I can tell you he was still pissed at the JDubs! During one of his monolougs he started raging about the JW's. The some members of the audience were saying to let the JW's believe what they want, and it was OK. Roy then started shouting saying "Yeh, well imagain if they came to your door with a machine gun! Then you wouldn't be so understanding. Its going to happen someday!" I'll never forget that. He must have been on something, I couldn't stop laughing. He then sung a song about Jehovah and his Whitlesses.

  Excellent Gig, great memories.

  i received a message from quotes that he asked to pass on to the forum.i'll be posting to the board an update of my situation probably next week, but not before then.

  so far, the news it good.

  however, if you would like to post to let everyone know that despite this "watchtower backed persecution" (lol) i continue "faithfully in my sacred service" of publishing zany watchtower quotes.

  This one I love, as a European I still have the excess skin unlike most of my American cousins. Its good to remind them of their extra obligations:
