Caught Wife Cheating

so i posted a while back about my marriage problems.... whole new gambit thrown into the mix.

i've had suspicions all along that something like this might be happening... but only just not confirmed that she's been cheating on me... with another jw that she works with!

she could have been more discreet about it rather than leave all the text messages on her phone.

I feel for you. This is just sh!t.

I had the same thing happen to me after 9 years, and I wish I had your sense at the time. If she really felt sorry, and wanted to be with you, her job would be irrelevant.

End this chapter in your life, and start a new one. Only with fancier script, and prettier pictures.

Update on my JC situation

first of all i wanted to say that many of you have given some very good suggestions.

there is about 5 different things i'm making a point to do now that i wasn't thinking of before.

The YMCA plus the spiritual doubts (607 etc) expressed to an elder on this committee probably means the exit.

If you want to show your in-laws how much BS is involved with a JC, then don't write it down, only tape the event. Be 110% repentant. Then you'll have your evidence.

My situation might not be all that bad after all.

as many of you know, i've mentally left the organization but i'm still actively involved, even with positions of responsibility.

i wanted to do a successful quiet fade out of the org but at the same time i don't want any involvement with it.

i would love to send a da letter right now but some things had been holding me back.

Hi RF,

After reading your post it sounds to me like you've already made your decision to leave. As regards your one friend in the organization, well, if that person is a true friend, then I'm sure you'll still keep in touch. Your mother has no congregational reason to shun you, so it's doubtful she will, and therefore your father will probably see you, if only as a bi-product of your moms contact.

If you can't talk to your, talking to your aunt may be a good idea. Unless there is bad blood between her and your parents, your still 'keeping you trouble local' so to speak.

If you are going to leave the org., and you don't want to submit a DA, then here's the procedure:

1) Stop your responsibilities at the hall, and get off the TMS schedule. IMPORTANT: Say this is because of psychological / stress related problems with depression.

2) After this stop going to the group meeting

3) Then stop going to the TMS / Service meeting

4) Then the Public talk / Watchtower

You are now on your way out.

If at any time (which will happen) the elders try to come around to "shepherd" you, refuse, once again using depression / anxiety.

This processes should take no more than three months.

drew, this meeting is a done deal. It doesn't matter what material you take with you, as soon as you put them on the defensive regarding mommy, the chairman will ask you if you accept that the FDS is Gods directed org, and then your out of you ass.

I have a question, Do you care if you're DF'd?

personally, i would like to have the choice to end my life if i chose to do so and see nothing wrong with having a professional help me with it.

i have watched several people die and to me it's just plain cruel to put someone through that.

we would never think of letting an animal suffer like that but yet some people in this country think they need to jail a person willing to help speed up the process.

It's all about the law.

How can we precisely define when it's right to 'put someone down'. We do it with our cats and dogs on a daily basis. Even then, we contemplate whether it was the right thing to do. Could we have waited another month before bozo the dog was terminated?

If a doctor terminates someone too early, is it murder? Even if the person consents to it, are they being rational enough to make the decision to be terminated this month rather than next month in sound mind? If someone has a dignity corrosive disease, and they want to end their life, is it because they are depressed?

The legal quagmire of euthanasia !
