  Dansk is in the hospital --- emails from Claire

  dansk (ian) is in the hospital.

  as you know, he posted to us on wednesday morning (after the tuesday night vigil) saying that he felt very bad.

  claire ended up having to go home from work because he was feeling so weak and having some trouble breathing.. here are her emails.

  right so being single and being free to look and date the male species i'm sad to announce that there really is no much of a choice out there.

  perhaps i'm not looking in the right places, or perhaps i just don't do it for these men.

  On a POSITIVE note ...

  i have felt that this site is therapeutic for me, in that i can give voice to feelings that i have heretofore had to keep inside.

  i also enjoy reading other's stories and learning that i am not alone.

  although, many of us feel that we have wasted our lives on wt, there may also be a very positive side.

  There definitely is a positive outcome for me: My experiences have surely made me a stronger person than I would be otherwise because every experience gave me annother chance to learn from and so to explore. No, I'm not a masochist but I learned to appreciate even the bad experiences because I have learned the most from those. So after all I can say: I've lost a lot but I gained more.

  you can approach god and granted to ask the fulfillment of any two wishes however extra ordinary, what would you ask?

  my favourite is an ecological one, the return to existence of all extinct animal and plant species, then some time travel ability to go back and see ancient worlds and participate in them.

  I can make two wishes?

  One for all, on just for me, that would be fair, wouldn't it? :

  1. Love and peace for the whole world.

  2. I want to take a flight with a F 18 or the like. The feeling must be incredible. I've never heard of a pilot of such an airplane who doesn't enjoy flying with it. It's a war-plane I know but the flight itself would be fantastic I'm absolutely sure.

  Creativity / Spirituality Connection?

  after nearly 10 years of fading, the closest i feel to being spirituality connected comes through 1) nature and 2) creativity.

  Physical activities (anything from work out to cleaning the house will do), listening to music or getting out. Consuming nature is a great stress reliever. I cycle or go for a long walk. When I hear the birds singing and smell the flowers or the earth everything comes into balance again automatically.

  Cyclists?

  are there any other people here who are into bicycling or handcycling?.

  last year, my husband got a handcycle (he can't use a bicycle due to handicap) and i got a new bicycle and we have been enjoying cycling.

  last september, we went on our first cycling tour and did the 20 mile.

  I'm an avid cyclist? I try to get on the bike every single day whenever weather and time allow me to. To me bicycling is one of the best ways to relax and clean the soul and as a result - as already mentioned - to become aware again of the many things to appreciate. (Plus it lifts my backside.)
