i know someone who is getting married and i am amazed how much money she spent.
she is a student and works part-time and if she's lucky makes $650 a month.
her fiance has a full time job but it goes for bills.
I spent $16,000 on my wedding we had 70 guests at a beautiful country club.
I feel fortunate, we already owned our own home and paid for the wedding expenses without any debt just the two of us saving up for about 13 months. You should never go into debt for a wedding, it would be better spent on a home or honeymoon to remember.

it is often thought that a mother has an instinct to protect her child.
so much so that she may become extremely violent when faced with a situation that may damage her chidren.. this is not just anger but a deep instinctive emotion, that is stronger in women than men.. why?

what happens to a person that has given a major portion of the thier life in decades of full time service at bethel or as a circut or district overseer and they get caught not beleiveing the teachings of the wt?.
will the governing body live up to its moral obligation to take care of them in their old age?
after all these people have claimed a vow of poverty, and have put very little money aside for retirement because they served the organization full time and had no money to put aside.
They don't care about anyone who longer believes or questions their doctrines. Remember in JW world their is no tolerence for mistakes. Just the same way the d'f the common JW, they can kick you to the curb regardless of how many years of loyal and faithful service you have provided. It's all or nothing for them.

This is so inanely stupid. To deny an infant a chance at life over a man made, not religious, point of veiw.
I don't know if it's just me but I would compare this to abortion in respect to the JW's veiw of abortion. They veiw abortion as wrong because:
"We cannot make a descision to take human life, only the creator can judge and decide"
Have these parents not made a decision that has taken/ terminated their baby's life? How is this any diffirent than abortion?
