Anyone had a tooth Implant?

i have to go through the procedure next montjh, was wondering how much pain is involved? Not something i really want to do but it seems better than a bridge? those who have had the expereince what do you say about the initial beginnings of the tooth implant, pain etc, uncomfortable, eating, soup, need someone to drive you or what?

Is the preaching work one of Jesus' warnings of "great signs and wonders"?
by truthseeker inthere have been recent comments on the forum about jws saying that because they preach in all the inhabited earth, they are god's chosen organization.. when i was first fading and heard this comment, i was momentarily taken back.
what if i'm wrong?

What should have also been added to Matt. 24:26 is that if they say he is in the organization do not believe them or fear them.

Revelation 22: 12-15 mentions that:
"Look! I am coming quickly and the reward i give is with me, to render to each one as his work is. I am the Alpha and the Omega, "
The society now says that this in the Revelation book is God (yahweh or Jehover as they put it). but didn't the society at times say that this is Jesus? I would sure love to have the quotes of them saying that and where to find them if anyone can help?????

Limiting comments by kids during WT Study
by navytownroger ini was told recently by a ministerial servant that the word had come down from above that from now on only two comments by children will be allowed during the wt study.
the reason: the meetings are geared to adults, not children.
has anyone else heard of this policy??

I for one greatly disliked it when kids were called to answer, if i had wanted to be in a sunday school class i would have gone to a different church. Now I don't care it is all childish anyway and you are encouraged not to get to deep or you may confuse the conductor.

well as i went to pay he swatted my card away and paid for both me and my friend.
he said something along the lines of, "you boys look like you work hard it's on me".

My son had people from a church he had visited once some time ago show up and help him move, he was stunned, the witness did nothing to help him, not one of them showed up despite the fact that his parents had been witness for over 20 years.

Outside information: people need information outside their own bubble so to speak, so that they can know what really is going on around them. Members need information from the outside to know the truth. that is why the borg is so scared of the internet and association by members with those outside the box (congregation).
To control us and our activities and future, all you have to do is cut off our past (associations, activities, studies etc.).
People who want to do that (i.e. the borg) are abusive and are in effect commiting a form of murder, they want to totally dominate us and murder any instincts we have about free thought and freedom of action. Thought and actions are only acceptable if in accord with the precepts of the FDS/GB.
The borg seeks total control of us, our ideas, or intellect, our basic human rights our freedom of speech, thought, and how we conduct our lives. Everthing from their world is service oriented, they want us to keep feeding the organizational machine $$$ is what they want and control.
If we think about it the Stockholm syndrome is also prevalent inside the ORG and the congregations. Those abused at least a good part of them love the abuser(s).
Well its something to think about anyway what are your thoughts?

Read an article in IBD about volcanos underthe icecap and the surrounding that are much like the one(s) in Hawaii that are oozing lava this may have more to do with it than any supposed affects from mankind. Just a thought.
